HBO to blame for Khan-Bradley falling apart. Greenburg needs to go!

As long as they are offered roughly the same I think Bradley should sign the fight, he deserves a small portion of the UK money IMO, cause they will be paying to see Khan fight Bradley.
I do agree with the TS though, HBO cant blame others when they offer two fighters £3million for one fight and then £3million for a fight thats in much bigger demand, but were talking about 1.4 million hear, a lot of ****ing money.Comment

But being a draw shouldn't really affect this. I mean Martinez couldn't draw flies to ****, and I think he deserves a lot of money. The mistake HBO made was overpaying guys like Floyd and Cotto for tomato can fights, and then they newer guys starting thinking "hey, since they get that much, we should too!". And they have every right to think so. But the difference between Berto and Bradley is that Bradley has proven himself. Berto didn't.Comment

There is that but I done agree with him doing it, at the end of the day, the chance to have the fight is now... the chance to take his career to another level is now, the chance to become a P4Per is now... and I think he would beat Khan anyway, I get what your saying, why not earn another million first, but then again the fight is in huge demand now... so why not take it whilst loads of people are witnessing it?

Yeah, obviously Bradley would be the best fight... no doubt, but second best would be Judah... if Khan pulls it off it could be a very good win for him, means hes beat a guy thats been in with the likes of Mayweather.
You should condone it,look I want to see this fight as much as anyone else on this site..But fact is I'm not feeding Bradley's kids or his family for that matter..Khan is making 1.25 for this fight,if I was in Bradleys shoes and also knowing that Khan is the challenger I would want a hella of a lot more myself..I say give Bradley 1.20 mill we got are self's a fight..Comment

He doesn't generate money! He doesn't have millions of fans like Floyd, Cotto, and Khan do. Where's the money for a bigger purse going to come from? It would come out of HBO's budget for the year, which means less money to spend on fights in the fall and winter.
They're only going to spend more cash if the dude proves he can generate television numbers, which he has not. Alvarez-Hatton did almost the same numbers as Alexander-Bradley, right? HBO spent millions of dollars hyping Bradley-Alexander expecting it to turn the winner intoa superstar (it didn't), meanwhile they spent absolutely nothing on hyping Canelo's fight.
Canelos fight did better than expected, Bradley fight did worse than expected. That means Canelo's going to get paid more in his next fight, and Bradley is not. That's how this thing works.
Look at it this way: Martinez hasn't got a 1,000,000 payday yet. Ever. He does better numbers and is probably more well known than Tim Bradley since he beat Pavlik and Williams, yet he isn't complaining about the 750k he's been getting. It's because 750K is a lot of money for a guy with zero fans.Comment

Bradley is a unified Champ and #1 Jr WW in the world, not to mention he is already on the P4P list..Bradley's career is already on another level..He might not be the bigger draw but he is far more accomplished then Khan..If he thinks he deserves more money it's because he does..Comment

can't HBO solve this easily by telling timmah that if he doesn't fight khan he won't be fighting on their airwaves until he does?
why can HBO be so hard on Martinez and not black fighters?Comment
