The mistake HBO made was overpaying these big guys, which is what gave the newer guys the money mindset. And they have every right to think so. So I agree with you there.
If his fights dont generate enough money to justify purses like Floyd or Cotto why would he get the same money? Their fights sell out and make alot more money than Bradleys so i dont really see how he would get paid on their level.

There is that but I done agree with him doing it, at the end of the day, the chance to have the fight is now... the chance to take his career to another level is now, the chance to become a P4Per is now... and I think he would beat Khan anyway, I get what your saying, why not earn another million first, but then again the fight is in huge demand now... so why not take it whilst loads of people are witnessing it?

As long as they are offered roughly the same I think Bradley should sign the fight, he deserves a small portion of the UK money IMO, cause they will be paying to see Khan fight Bradley.

I do agree with the TS though, HBO cant blame others when they offer two fighters £3million for one fight and then £3million for a fight thats in much bigger demand, but were talking about 1.4 million hear, a lot of ****ing money.

Khan was ranked by the ring #2 when Bradley and Alexander fought,if Alexander was #2 Bradley would be the Ring Champ right now..

Of course it does. If Mayweather and Cotto bring more rating, buys and fans to the arena it doesnt matter who they fight as long as the money comes in.

Bradley is a unified Champ and #1 Jr WW in the world, not to mention he is already on the P4P list..Bradley's career is already on another level..He might not be the bigger draw but he is far more accomplished then Khan..If he thinks he deserves more money it's because he does..

Bradley isnt a big money fighter and needs to earn as much money as possible while he can. If he was to lose to Khan it would be a while before paydays like this would be available to him. If HBO didnt guarantee him another fight then i would say he should fight Khan for the opportunity but if I was in his shoes i would do the same thing and take the Khan fight next.

Yeah, obviously Bradley would be the best fight... no doubt, but second best would be Judah... if Khan pulls it off it could be a very good win for him, means hes beat a guy thats been in with the likes of Mayweather.

They're only going to spend more cash if the dude proves he can generate television numbers, which he has not. Alvarez-Hatton did almost the same numbers as Alexander-Bradley, right? HBO spent millions of dollars hyping Bradley-Alexander expecting it to turn the winner intoa superstar (it didn't), meanwhile they spent absolutely nothing on hyping Canelo's fight.

Canelos fight did better than expected, Bradley fight did worse than expected. That means Canelo's going to get paid more in his next fight, and Bradley is not. That's how this thing works.

Look at it this way: Martinez hasn't got a 1,000,000 payday yet. Ever. He does better numbers and is probably more well known than Tim Bradley since he beat Pavlik and Williams, yet he isn't complaining about the 750k he's been getting. It's because 750K is a lot of money for a guy with zero fans.
I don't believe Martinez lives in America were 750K is **** in reality..

In a perfect world that would be true but in reality the guy who brings more money in is the guy who makes more money period. It doesnt matter who is better or fought tougher comp.

can't HBO solve this easily by telling timmah that if he doesn't fight khan he won't be fighting on their airwaves until he does?

why can HBO be so hard on Martinez and not black fighters?
