As much as you hate to admit it , Floyd toyed with Marquez coming off inactivity. If Pac fights Marquez at 147 whats your take on that? Katsidis knocked him down and he isnt the first and wont be the last to do it. If you've been paying attention a lot of guys have put him on the seat of his pants but he only has a hand full of losses. I'll put it this way, THERE IS NO WAY PAC CAN COAST AGAINST MARQUEZ! HE WOULD HAVE TO FIGHT HIS HEART OUT JUST LIKE THEIR LAST TWO FIGHTS at any weight. "***in believe it." (Kenny Powers)
dood, this doens't even deserve a long discussion. and i wish i have that kind of time like you peeps here have. styles make fights, you know this. and i don't understand why you seem to be employing the triangle theory here. every fight is different. i don't even know the concerns about a marquez trilogy. marquez will always give pac hell. the only element one could bring in this fight is a supposed new improved pac. that remains to be seen if the fight happens. the point is why include fighters that will be destined in the fantasy world? floyd beats marquez in a dazzling fashion. that's fine. can you honestly say that marquez would last a distance with guys such as cotto, clottey, margarito and mosley? hope that helps for now.

I think Floyd respects all the fighters he fight if he didn't he wouldn't train so hard. And if u noticed he always show them love after the fight. It's all a front to get haters and people who love him to tune in. the people who love him tune in the see him win the haters tune it to see him knocked out. Great business plan.

Why the hell did you et so emotional? And what are "peeps like me". Its not a triangle theory. We've seen both fighters take on a common guy. Like you said "styles make fights". And judging from the styles of Clottey, Cotto, and Margarito dont have as easy of a time against Marquez as Floyd did. I do pick Shane to win over Marquez fairly easy on power alone. The others may very well beat JMM but I cant see any making it a cake walk against one of the greatest counter punchers I've seen to date. Nothing unfair or dismissive about that point of view. And it damn sure aint a triangle theory. So read thoroughly the next time you have a tantrum.

you heard me. marquez will always give pac hell even at welter. that's what you wanna hear, i supposed. i say it like it is. when you say that none of these guys who pac beat can do the same thing floyd did, that is in a glorious fashion, what can one say, really? how are we suppose to know when these didn't happen. like i will always say, it's all subjective. until we see these fights happen, just for comparison purposes..... it will all guess work. hope that helps.

DLH was past it and SSM was old, and JMM was overweight and bloated. Nothing wrong with Zab other than he wernt that great. Well, with Hatton we know he had a word with Cortez about Hattons dirty tactics and to avoid noticing his own dirty tactics and his own elbows.

Thats cool by me for you to have your own opinion. I felt like mine was just as honest but you jumped defensive automatically. I dont bash Pac for the record but I am well aware of both Manny and Floyd's limitations that they showed so far.

Mosley wasnt old until after Floyd won a onesided fight. Everyonr thought DLH was a tough fight before it happened. JMM....Well it is what it is.....Big name ,big money, and a message to Roach and team Pac. And only a bad ref is gonna let a fighter hold a guy in place so he can land a punch. Cortez has never allowed much holding and hitting and does warn Floyd about the elbows. Floyd being a smart vet lays off the bows and uses them discreetly to prevent loss of points. All great fighters bend the rules so stop with the excuses.

I have always thought this as well but then he seems to get mad at the "haters". It's like man, you can't have your cake and eat it all too.
