I understand these guys want the big dollars but before TRUE respect is earned Khan needs to fight Prescott again and Ortiz needs to fight Maidana again. Plain and simple. Vic is talking confident due to his well deserved big win at welter weight.
Seems like Vic feels more comfortable at 147.

He fought Maidana at 139-3/4. Now if Maidana stepped up and challenged Vic at 147, then we might see if it was actually a fluke or not.

Who knows? Maidana might even be stronger at 147.

All it takes is a rematch to find out.
