a draw and most people had him losing to jmm the second time
2 wins over a washed up erik
catchweight vs cotto and tony
2 good wins vs mab
beat clottey after cotto just beat him
How in the *** can you idiots vote for him over srr. I bet its the pac fans that been watching boxing since pac became famous...
people say if pac beats sergio at 160 hes the goat. Well henry armstrong did that type of ****. Which is why i hate when people compare pac to henry. Henry beat fighters with no catchweight while being hugely out weight
Beat JMM twice, the judge scored the first round wrong in the first fight
Lost to Erik and came back to beat him twice by KO
Beat a prime MAB, by TKO and beat him a 2nd time just to prove it was no fluke
Beat diaz a champ at 135
Beat DLH at 147 when every1 said he was going to lose
Beat Hatton at his best weight where he was undefeated in his whole career
Beat Cotto at 145 (cotto had weight in at 145 for his 2 previous fights at a limit of 147)
Beat Clottey at 147
Beat Margarito letting him weigh up to 150....
Yeah, funny how people can turn things aroundComment

Actually as a Floyd fan I think it's ***en ******.I don't defend the guy no matter what like these PAC fans.I even think Floyd is a dumb ignorant person outside the ring. With that said Armstrong fought people where in today's times would be considered 2 weight divisions to high.so it's like PAC weighing in at 147 n beating Sergio at 160.Comment

8 divisions now, would be how much in Robinson's time??100 fights before he was defeated.over 200 fights won.Same day weight ins.Lets act like those things can be accomplished now,or we can be real & leave the greatest fighters legend alone & deal with the present because there is no comparison to be made here.Comment

No Not "nuff said. In those days, a guy like you would be making about $3 a day at your best wage...............
I remember the big fuss when Robinson walked away from a return fight with Basilio because he wanted more money. He was being offered,I think, $350,000. He demanded $500,000 or the fight was off... OFF.
He gor it. And there lies the root of Basilio's hatreed of Robinson, who, after that fight swore he'd NEVER fight hm again. Robinson was very difficult to deal with and since the news often was full of how boxing would be better off without prima donnas like Robinson, it was no surprise when, in his fight with Fullmer at age just touching 40, it was scored a draw, instead of a clear Robinson win. The powers that be then, couldn't stand that Robinson would once more be in control of the Middleweight crown.
The newsmen and ringside observers were nearly unanimous in saying that Robinson won the fight 11-4, which was the score I had myself. it was as clear as glass. They just wanted to get rid of him. Even the ref, who scored in those days, had it 11-4 for Robinson.Comment
