At welterweight thaBut he wouldn't of had anything left to fight at 126 & below.Call it bums 2ice a month if U like.No current fighter could have done same day weight inst would favor him. & fight anyone twice a month. The point is fighters of today enjoy far to much luxury to compare to those hard old school men.If U were to drop SRL unto 147 right now,IMO Pacman & Floyd would never have dared to even think about going there.Better training techniques now, usable weight in advantage, more time off, less fights, better medical, the list can go on forever.Just let it be.Pacman isn't a better fighter than SRL was, period.
how 's that when pac has always made weight even at the lower weights ... were only talking about replacing the current rule to the same dayweigh in rule, not shuffling history to make a hypothetical scenarios.....srl woulda , coulda shoulda is a fantasy...**** aint even relevant to determing one's greatness....the last bolded, that is all opinion and a lot of pepole sure would disagree with you...period

That doesnt answer my question. This isnt about fair this is comparing one fighter to the next. Having over 200 Fights and An almost 100 fight win streak is the precedence set. And that's what makes srr the goat. That's why his legacy is untouchable. And of course u factor in w/l/d's

Yes Ali said SRR was the best didnt he? I havent heard Pac say it though. I wonder who Pac thinks is the best? I think Pac said Pac was the best, and for a humble guy to say it makes you wonder.

Also who did SRR think was the best? But even though SRR had 100s of fights, didnt all fighters have that many fights back then? Thats how it was so its not as if what SRR was doing made him at a disadvantage.

I am among those that would disagree with both poll options. I actually consider Muhammad Ali to be the greatest of all time and Pacquiao, assuming he beats Shane, makes the top 10.

In my opinion Floyd Mayweather had all the skills and talent to be the best of all time. He chose not to prove himself.

Sugar Ray Robinson Is still the greatest of all time.

Sugar Ray Robinson Frequently cited as the greatest boxer of all time, Robinson's performances in the welterweight and middleweight divisions prompted sportswriters to create "pound for pound" rankings, where they compared fighters regardless of weight. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990.

Defeated other Hall of Fame fighters such as Jake LaMotta, Carmen Basilio, Gene Fullmer, Carl 'Bobo' Olson, Henry Armstrong, Rocky Graziano and Kid Gavilan. Nuff Said. Nooo Steroid Era
