If JuanMa is able to beat Salido in a rematch...

Alright IDK if uncle Bob is going to make this go down but if JuanMa is able to get the Salido rematch and beat him, should Arum just set up the Gamboa/JuanMa unification before anything else ****s it up or will he have learned nothing at all from this?

I know uncle Bob wants it to be a big mega fight sort of deal but its never going to happen because if you ask casuals about FWs they ask what that is and you tell them 126 they say who wants to see a bunch of midgets fight.

You know its dumb so do I but that is how ppl are, so once JuanMa gets back into the picture as a serious threat to Gamboa who is now that man at 126 by default, they need to set it up ASAP.

Good points but Salido has too much quickness, reach and chin for Juanma.

I'm pretty sure that's the plan if Juanma gets to the final bell he'll win no matter what, Salido has to knock him the *** out again.

Salido's style reminds me so much of Glen Johnson's style. And what a coincidence they both have over 10 losses but are still looked at as dangerous. Of course Salido is so much younger than Glen. But they are like the perfect example of fighters you can't underestimate because of their losses. And Salido's 5 KO losses is very deceiving because his last TKO loss was in 1998.

Anyway. If Lopez beats Salido, I think they should build Gamboa-Lopez up with just one more fight and that's Lopez vs Solis, then that's it, if he beats Solis, Gamboa gets a tune up, and Arum makes Gamboa-Lopez.

Because of Lopez' dominating TKO loss to Salido, I just can't see that as a big fight any more. More like, does Lopez have a chance. But pre-Salido I was like, I think Gamboa can win, but it's kinda 50-50. You know, after the Mtagwa fights, now this fight, okay styles make fights but damn how many are you gonna look bad against, that Gamboa looked good against. Let's not take the styles make fights line and use it for every bad performance against common opponents now. Enough is enough, styles make fights but maybe Lopez style just plain sucks at the top level. Period.

                Juanma better leave Salido alone.

It'll be a lot worse the next time.

He should cash-out for a big money fight while he still can.

It seems like he peaked against de Leon and has deteriorated slowly since.

Maybe your right and since Gamboa has developed a much better pro style since his earlier fights Arum will view it the same way and sort of feed JuanMa to him if he thinks it would be that easy and has so much confidence in Gamboa.
