alot of you sound like f@gs, its ok it woulda been at a catchweight anyway..etc..etc.. other then Floyd Pac shouldnt wanna fight anyone else but JMM... i can tell most of you are strictly fans and have never been in a ring.. because if you watched the 1st 2 fights they where wars..both have gotten better, but honestly Pacs skills workrate etc have increased so much could JMM beat him, only way we'd know is if they fought!!

How is fighting Chris John in Indonesia for $30K going to position you better in negotiations after you're offered a 50/50 split of $1.5 mil to fight on HBO/in Vegas? That makes absolutely no sense
Fact of the matter is- Marquez priced himself out, took short money to fight a relative unknown for peanuts and lost. Meanwhile Pacquiao became a major PPV star.
Sounds like his strategy backfired terribly, wouldn't you say?
It was gbp that demanded the ost to stay consistent with what Floyd demanded and jmm was upset that gbp put that as part of the terms. And I'm not positive but I was pretty sure jmm didn't want a 50/50 split but did want a guarantee that arum felt was too high. Either way to suggest jmm was scared ducked or didn't want the fight is baseless and just plain ******. Right or wrong he just wanted what he felt was deserved. It was a great series of fights the trilogy IMO is expired and I'm glad jmm can walk away from it and continue to add to his great legacy. I'm also glad he's not going to have to end his career as arums slave and pawn.

you can't be ****in serious,only a pacquiao fan would say and believe that dumb ****I can guarantee you fights with Zab Judah, Robert Guerrero, and enter name here COMBINED wouldn't equal the money he would make with a Pacquiao fight. Not to mention he claimed he so desperately wanted the Manny fight then when it's staring him in the face (again) all of a sudden he's not interested?
Fact is, he never had any intention of fighting Pacquiao and just used the threat of jumping ship for a Manny fight to trick GBP into over-paying him. But it's not the first time JMM yapped non stop about fighting Manny and then when it's offered, he prices himself out and fights someone else for a fraction of what he would've made.
You would think he learned from the Chris John failed experiment

Marquez: "I want Pacquiao badly, the fans deserve this fight"
Arum: "Ok, you're up next Juan Manuel. You're about to make the biggest pay day of your career. All you have to do is come to us with Marquez promotions and after the fight you're free to sign with whomever you want or remain a free agent"

What u can't read I said it makes him a bad business man not anything else. And I said I wasn't sure about the 50/50 but it really doesn't matter. Theyve already fought 2x what would jmm be scared of? You could cling to bull**** to try and make this something its not. But it's obvious when a fighter is pricing himself out to duck a fight and when he's not. Obvisously jmm wasn't. He just wanted what he felt he deserved and he didn't wanna make any concessions just like with PAC and the ost testing. Right or wrong it doesn't matter. Maybe $$$ was not good as most perceived. Zab might bring him a 4th weight division title (unprecedented for a Mexican). The difference may be just 1-1.5 mil.Looks like Marquez didn't want the fight as badly as he claimed he did

If Marquez gets the same deal Mosley did, he stands to make about $8 mil if the PPV does 1 mil buys at least, gets more with more buys obviously.
Do you seriously think Marquez is going to make $6.5-$7 mil for a Zab Judah or Robert Guerrero fight? I would bet he wouldn't make that in 3-4 fights with the names being thrown out there for him. But hey, if Oscar is as dumb as he seems... it's possible
