This I think was a slip up from Arum here. It seems the goal is to prevent retired boxers from entering the promotion game.

I think its pretty smart. He could actually make the fans upset with each other while preventing the fight from happening himself.

Bradley on the other hand, he wants to sign probably because he's younger and has his whole career ahead of him and not in his rear view like the other 2. That's likely his next target.

If Marquez really wanted the Pacquiao fight, he could've gone to the bargaining table with the contract offer from GBP and used that as leverage against Arum. Fight's at 140 or I sign with Oscar tomorrow, etc. But as before, he was just paying lip service to wanting the fight. Pricing himself out, going to Indonesia for chump change, asking for 50/50 after Manny was coming off a 1.25 mil buy PPV, etc... it's a pattern, but if you want to turn a blind eye and make believe JMM is loyal all of a sudden when he was the one OPENLY threatening to jump ship for Manny, I can't stop you from living your life
My bad then, but I swear I saw an article where Arum said that a certain boxer (thought it was JMM) had to sign with TR to fight Pac. Anyway I'd rather JMM fight Rios, Judah etc than Pac.

Thank god. Maybe now we can get pac ortiz or pac bradley. That jmm fight just did nothing for me. Good news all the way around. If he excepted an offer by gdp that means he got a pretty nice payday. At least this way he can always say he really won one of those two fights or even both. If he would have faced pac now no one would have remembered that, all they would remember is the third fight where he got destroyed by a bigger stronger man in his prime. Ending a trilogy on ur back isn't the way u wanna go out.

I'm not with a fighter having to jump ship in order to get a fight with a particular fighter.

Man I just don't see the appeal in a Judah-JMM fight. Hell, I think Morales is tougher than what Zab Judah is. This is just a woeful fight. Man I just don't have much respect for JMM that much anymore.

Theres no room for piss drinkers on the #1 boxing promotion company in the world. How much did the last GBP PPV do which was their most stacked card ever? Less than 50k.....LMAO

GBP only produces turds which is why Marquez resigned with them, he likes the taste of feces, literally.

the back peddling is complete. marquez knows what manny knows. no need to get blasted and have 3 losses to one man. if he wanted it he could have jumped ship but he never really wanted it so now he gets to fight people he can have a chance with.
