Hatton speaks on Mayweather

Whoever wins between Hatton and Mayweather is true King of 140 and 147. And probably best p4p fighter. Because the 140 pound division is probably by the far the most talent laden. Espeically when you consider there is also a great amount of talent at 135 who are in contention for 140 pound supremcy. Whoever wins betweens between Hatton and Mayweather. Corrales or Castillo from 135 would be great challengers. I would think more so than Judah but tha is only my opinion.

These guys to me are pretty much all in the same class in terms of size. Mayweather is probably the smallest of them.

Hatton has only been on his arse once in 39 fights, and that was a flash knockdown in the 1st round that didn't hurt him.

He took Kostya Tszyu's biggest shots, (and though I will admit, I did see his knees buckle a couple of times... He hid it excellently).

I think it's safe to say that Hatton's chin is alright.

i saw it just, and it was flash just like millet, and bergman knocking zab down.

spinks kd was not real, zab was completely off balance, even if he wouldnt have got hit he would have still fallen.

i knew you would bring up zab, trying to take attention away from hatton.

anyway millett and bergman are actually good, and even count the spinks kd which is bs but whatever, theyre a lot better than magee.

I know Floyd is ugly, but his cheerleaders are uglier. Arum listed 4 fighters he'd like to match against Floyd and Hatton wasn't on the list. Floyd has squirreled himself away somewhere and nobody can contact him. He almost blew the Cotto fight because he's so damn dumb. Moreover, he says he only wants big money fights, yet turned down the biggest money fight of his career with Wright after calling out Wink. Moreover, he says he won't go to England to fight Hatton, which is where all the money is. Floyd wants Hatton to come to the US where he will make less money and Floyd makes less. So Floyd shoots off his mouth and his ass can't cover the check. In the meantime, Hatton is scooping up one of the fighters Arum listed, Maussa. Hatton will hold 2 belts, 3 if you count his WBU, and Hatton marches on and Floyd is in hiding again, probably getting in more trouble.

even if Ricky Hatton beats Mayweather easily American people who post on this site will say Mayweather wasn`t at his best , Hatton was dirty , such a person will beat him, english fighters will never get the respect they deserve by American fight fans simply because they aren`t American , no other reason , remember before the Tyzu Hatton fight they were saying a 35yr old Tyzu is better than a 25yr old Tyzu, then as soon as he gets beaten ( and easily i might add ) its Tyzu was past it, something was wrong , the only thing wrong is that Tyzu wasn`t as good as Hatton and he got outfought, now im not saying Hatton will easily beat Mayweather and im not saying Mayweather isnt a great fighter cos he is but Hatton is a better fighter than anybody who Mayweather has fought before and vice versa and if any one can beat Mayweather its Hatton.

You couldn't be any more wrong. The only reason there is a bias vs Euro-fighters is because many of them have a history of not fighting the best. If Hatton beats Mayweather, there is no way in hell he won't get props. He will have haters just like any fighter, but that's what happens when you are good. If Hatton wins vs Floyd, he'd be p4p number 1 by RING and any respectable source, so no, he will not be denied respect at all.

And btw, Tszyu was NOT in his prime (OBVIOUSLY) when he fought Hatton. Also, Tszyu didn't train at the right time like Hatton did, so although Hatton gets props for better prep, you also have to say Tszyu was NOT at his best.

And no, Hatton didn't win easily. The fight was fairly close until the end.
