What boxing commission requires a 10 million dollar weight penalty for every pound over? It sure isn't Nevada.

This was all a pre-determined smear campaign by the Floyd camp which will rob the boxing fans of this fight, and try and place blame on Pacquiao. If Floyd really wanted this fight, it would get done. He won't take any fight this risky and risk his "0" this close to calling it quits.

I don't believe a loss in this fight would affect Manny as much as Floyd, because his "0" is all he has going for him.
Well, explain why Manny and his camp agreed to the testing in December 09.

              • Now I hope this fight never happens...

This whole thing is sad...Posturing from everyone involved...Pac, Floyd, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Freddie, Roger, etc...And leaving boxing fans frustrated that they can't get the fight they want.

Right now I feel like this...I could care less if the fight happens or not...If it does, cool. If not, so what? Both fighters can fight someone else and make money. Plus, if this fight happens, then Manny would "have to win" for there to be some buzz after the fight...Floyd wins, then there is really no one else for him to fight...Martinez is a no go (too big) and Khan, Bradley, and Berto would get criticism from some fans...

So yeah, right now I don't care who doesn't want to do anything here...Just make the fight, or move on.

same here. that ship has sailed but i'd consider it a bonus if the fight does happen.

unfortunately, for the TS and some haters here, they can't seem to let go.

                  • because Floyd had recently ****ed JMM over at the scales, and Marquez had to fight with a significant size disadvantage. Mayweather could have lost the weight, but chose not to so's not give Marquez any chance, and the fight couldn't be cancelled because so much money was involved. Marquez even hinted Mayweather did it on purpose to gain an advantage in later interviews.

It's not beyond Floyd, he loves playing mind games and having advantages over opponents to minimise risk. For the biggest fight of his life, I wouldn't put anything past him. And neither did Pac's camp. This was a fair demand, and not new. Leonard did the same to Duran for their third fight, but that was a joke because it was for a 168 title, but duran would be penalised $1 million for every ounce over 160.

pac has come in over contracted weight for a fight and wasnt coming off a nearly 2 year lay off. if pac fights jmm, it will most likely be at 47 and i bet you will be on pacs ****.

why would floyd need a size adantage over JMM? floyd would fry JMM at any weight, point blank period. now go back to tardville

                      oh the contradictions
