There is no proof of a verbal agreement, and plus, verbal agreements mean nothing in the real world, so why the hell do you expect it to be true in the world of boxing which has more crooks than a frigging prison in the game.Comment

No, Ward wanted to fight Abraham in Germany, he even told his promoter, Dan Goosen, to talk to Sauerland and work out a deal to get Ward-Abraham to Germany, or even Finland. Ward is tired of the rumors being propagated about him on the internet. Unfortunately, Sauerland came back and said "No" because the semifinals and finals of the Super 6 have to take place in America and Hershmann wouldn't budge.
It is easier to say I want to fight in Europe when all the contracts state that the semi and finals are to be in the US.
That's like calling out a fighter who has a fight already signed and you saying he is ducking you...
Maybe you are ******, but I am not.Comment

Dont worry about the finals in Madison Square Garden, you are getting knocked out Froch.WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is not happy with having to face Glen Johnson at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on June 4. Froch wanted to stage his next fight before his loyal fans in Nottingham. The fight with Johnson is part of the semi-finals in the Super Six tournament. Froch's contract with Showtime, who coordinate the Super Six, directs the match to take place in America.

Very Poor Headline.
Not once has Froch said he was angry about some back market town in Denmark, Monaco or even ****ty Helsinki. And he sure as hell does not mind fighting in America (he has done twice already, both KO wins).
The facts are the facts, he made a point about 10,000 in Nottingham arena would be good for the event, over some ****ty 2,800 venue.
Also the fact his fans have bought tickets for Copenhagen (moved) then Herning, then Monaco (moved) and then Helsinki - and it would be nice they didnt have to fly to some ******* city where he, nor the opponent has any local fans.
What is the f***** point in that?
Especially when Andre Ward fights 3 fights on the spin at home and then will be in the American final.
It's almost like they want Froch to take the most difficult route throughout the contest as possible.Comment
