ps. American venues are piss poor! the UK has the best venues in the world for boxing and the best turn out. I'm not suprised Hatton and a like got frustrated with ****ty small venues in the US.

ok, first thing: americans dont fight outside as a rule but there are, and have been some exceptions.
we (the british) fight all over their country and still dont gain their respect.
they carry on like yanksville is the place to fight and earn rights to be called a champ but, only if you win by ko in style.
second thing: if madison square garden was in england or vegas was a city near london then we would be the fight capital of the world.
these are the only two real places that either has heritage(msg)in the sport or has money to be earned.(lv)
let us not forget what hagler did to minter in london back in the day or sugar ray did to turpin in the second fight etc but, in last 20 years has seen the british elite goto the states and wipe the floor with all yanks in their own back yard.
here are a few that the records show have done so just to remind the yanks:
nigel benn,naseem hamed,joe calzaghe,lloyd honeygan,lennox lewis and more.
