Who is James Toney's best win?

Cotto was the top dog at WW. period. Pac mauled him down.

for comparison's sake it is always more impressive to move up and beating a top dog than to pick out smaller guys as they come up.

It is not debateable. i don't know why I'm still in this thread with you drooling ******s.
No not period bro. A lot of people myself included was calling for him to fight Shane.

You are putting too much stock into size rather than the fighter.

      What an idiot.

Toney's wins over Holyfield, Nunn, McCallum 2x, and Barkley are better than any win on Cotto's resume. Hell Cotto's best win was barely a win[Mosley].

Can't say the same for Pacquiao steamrolling through Hopkins resume P4P. Jones demolishes Pacquiao and every one on Pacquiaos resume, Calzaghe beats Pacquiao, Winky Wright beats Pacquiao, Taylor that Hopkins fought beats Pacquiao, Pacquiao beats Trinidad, Pascal beats Pacquiao, Pacquiao beats Tarver, Pacquiao beats Pavlik, Pacquiao beats Glen Johnson.

The weight disparities are obvious, but of course this is P4P, fantasy matches we're talking about.
I mean, this is just a monumentally ****** post, isn't it?

What's wrong with you? Are you F'ing serious?

          WTF?

Don't ever compare Cotto to Toney again. Is not comparable. Toney was once arguably the best P4P fighter in the planet. Cotto was never argued to such.

Toney wins over Nunn and McCallum, hell even his win over Jirov>>>>>anything win Cotto has. And, that is not even debatable man.

WTF are you serious? Like really WTF is wrong with you? Do you watch the whole sport of boxing? Where you watching boxing in the 90's? Why would you make such an idiotic statement?

And, for the last time Cotto wasn't the top dawg at WW at the time Pac fought him. Mosley was man.

Hell he just had a war 2 fights, 10 months prior to facing Hopkins.

So I don't get your point. Barrera was in his prime or at the very least the tail end of his prime. the best featherweight at that time, P4P elite level fighter as well. The lineal featherweight champion. And, then after the fight went up to a division and unified the division.

            Barrera win>>>Tito win.
Discounting the the wildfire that interrupted his training camp at Big Bear Lake leading up to that fight, I'm not disagreeing with the facts above.

I just don't agree with the opinionated conclusions that follow up with that. Personally I like a win over a 40+ and 0 fighter who was at the very top of the P4P List and had a Middleweight World Belt to boost as preparation for 160. But that's just me.

That would be the equivalent of Sergio Martinez knocking out 41-0 Floyd Mayweather in a Middleweight Title defense. Years later you can brush that win aside and critique it as a win over a smaller weight fighter, but it was a great win at that time, against a P4P great.

Have to say I completely disagree here. P4P I would pick the Barrera Pacquiao beat the first time and the Morales Pacquiao lost to to beat Hopkins. Marquez would give Hopkins a hell of a fight and could beat him too. I don't think Hopkins ever fought fighters that good, except Jones.

And Pacquiao does not lose to the Calzaghe or Wright Hopkins fought, he obliterates any version of Taylor or Pascal, and you already said he would beat the rest, and easily at that.
