I don't see why anybody would believe beating Chris Smith, who was coming off a lost, will get anybody ranked in the top 10.

        But, whatever.

And, no Mitchell wasn't ranked at all....LOL @ winning the what was it? NABF? NABO? NABA? It doesn't matter, he wasn't ranked so lets not act like he was.
Mitchell was a worthy opponent right? No push over.

It was his first fight at 147 though so I didn't really mind it at the time.

Not really, Mitchell was done, had seen better days. However, it was Floyd first fight at WW and considered a tune up for Judah. Both Mitchell and Judah were southpaws.

So the fight didn't really bother me. And, Floyd went one to beat better opponents than Mitchell...

But, to say Mitchell was ranked, even worse, "highly ranked" is quite laughable.

Did you consider Marg a rank JMW?

Or better yet Frazier a ranked LHW?

                    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Th..._Ratings:_2005

And, should it also be noted that those organizations ranking don't rank other title holders. So is not really a whole divisional ranking now is it?

It was his 2nd fight at WW. Coming off a tuneup.

He was not ranked in the top 10. By any rankings.
