Froch has a great rapport with his fans, he's in contact with them. He knows that some of them can't afford to travel for this, having spent to support him abroad in the past.

Froch has fought away from home for his last two fights - why the hell shouldn't his fans have a chance to watch him live for a change? Especially when he is the title holder in this fight and Johnson is the challenger?

And it's not as if Froch has refused to fight if it's in the US, he's made it clear that he'll go ahead with the fight wherever it is held. He is just doing his best to get it moved if he can, so that his fans can watch him for the first time in three fights, and why shouldn't he?

Kessler-Froch is one of those fights where depending on what you give the privilege to in your scoring (clean punching, volume, who dictates the pace, who marches forward), you'll get a very different scorecard from somebody else.

You act like Nottingham is a hot bed for big boxing events. Nottingham had one big fight and it was highly considered a robbery. 1 out of 1 big fights that was questionable is pretty poor. People talk bad about America but nearly every big fight happens here, you're gonna get a bad call or two. Overall America is pretty good country to fight in if you're from another nation.

1) The ref was Panamanian, the judges were from Mexico, Italy and Belgium - all from neutral countries.

2) No close fight can ever be called a robbery, and that was a close fight in the opinion of almost every boxing analyst. The majority scored it narrowly to Dirrell - but only by a round or two, and no fight that close can be called a robbery. (And some respected boxing analysts scored it narrowly to Froch, including Cliff Rold of boxingscene)

The only people calling it a robbery are butt-hurt xenophobes who can't cope with seeing an American fighter lose.

The judges and ref will all be from neutral countries. He has far more chance of winning in Nottingham with neutral officials than most non-US fighters have when they fight in the US, when the officials are almost always from the US. And there have been plenty of real robberies on US soil, whereas none of the Super 6 fights so far have been clear robberies.

Do you think US fighters should be banned from defending their titles in the US because their opponents have "literally no chance" of winning there?

If Froch really wants a location change he should be looking to have it at the O2 on the Degale-Groves card, the guy has absolutely no exposure in the U.K and would go along way in getting his face recognised.
