Wow you know nothing about sport if you think that's unusual.
Footballers love to play in front of their own fans. All sportsman do.
Can't believe the extreme levels of cynicism of some so-called sports fans on here. Extreme naivete and extreme cynicism are both as ridiculous as each other, and your extreme cynicism is as ridiculous as the extreme naivete that you're trying unsuccessfully to ridicule.
Aaaannnddd you know nothing about anything if you couldn't detect the sarcasm in that post.

Way to fail, bro.
Sorry, there were so many genuinely cynical posts in this thread, it gets to one after a while and one starts to see cynicism when it isn't there.
Regarding your other point, about the contract, though, there was nothing in the contract that he signed that said he'd have to fight three successive fights away from home. Given the way it's panned out, and the fact that no other fighter except Abraham has had to do that, and Ward hasn't fought away from home even once, I see no reason why he shouldn't try to change the venue. Your rational for why it's important that he doesn't seems to be that US fans will be inconvenienced if it's held in the UK. But a lot more UK fans will watch this fight than US fans, so their needs should be given priority.
