Since when did Nottingham become a venue known for robberies? Dirrell lost to Froch because he fought like a ***** and now everyone is talking about Nottingham as though its Las Vegas.

You act like Nottingham is a hot bed for big boxing events. Nottingham had one big fight and it was highly considered a robbery. 1 out of 1 big fights that was questionable is pretty poor. People talk bad about America but nearly every big fight happens here, you're gonna get a bad call or two. Overall America is pretty good country to fight in if you're from another nation.

Exactly and its not like Johnson hasn't been robbed in America before on multiple occasions.

You can't fight the way Dirrell did against a champion in his own backyard and expect to come away with the title.

The Dirrell, Froch fight is not widely considered a robbery maybe it is here on NBS but in reality it was a close fight 1 guy came to fight the other ran hugged *****ed and stank the place out you don't win world titles like that.

Can't be mad at that,mine went to Froch by two rds..Most people who I talk to who gave Kessler the fight said they had Kessler by two rds..But too say Froch only won 1-3 rds in that fight is crazy the fight was closer then that..But I never argued that you were wrong for giving the fight to Kessler..Just giving Froch three rds is crazy,but hey I heard worse on this site with people calling what Dirrell did when he fought Froch effective boxing..

Kessler-Froch is one of those fights where depending on what you give the privilege to in your scoring (clean punching, volume, who dictates the pace, who marches forward), you'll get a very different scorecard from somebody else.

See, I completely disagree with this statement. It is unfair to a challenger to have to fight a different style or go above and beyond to get the nod over the champion in his backyard. Dirrell did enough to win that fight and should of been awarded the victory. It was a close fight but imo he was the clear victor. It's unfair to think that Dirrell should of done more to win the fight. It's cut and dry, you do more, you win. You shouldn't have to do extra just because you are on the road or a challenger.

He may of stunk up the joint but he outboxed Froch and that is enough to win a fight. I don't think there should be special rules to winning a fight just because you are the challenger or on the road. If so that just drills in more reason why this fight shouldn't be in Nottingham(besides the obvious contracts). As for Johnson being robbed in America, yes, he has but almost all his fights have been in America as well. Robberies occur, especially in a country that has almost all the big fights.

If the fight does get moved I believe the money should go to Johnson, not SHO.

I think Froch beats Johnson whereever they fight, and the term "robbery" is attached to every close fight Johnson loses.

However, Johnson probably is a little wary of going to the UK. He had to go there three times 2003-2006 for fights with Clinton Woods, all the fights were close and he only came out with the decision once. Not saying the scores weren't fair, just saying Johnson probably is thinking he deserved better

well Glen already said he doesnt care where the fight goes and Froch is trying to change the rules of the super tourney go figure,he nows hes in for a tough fight win or lose!!!
