He wants it for his fans. If you were aware of the rapport between Froch and his fans and their recently expressed concerns, you'd know this.

He'll try his luck to get the fight back home for them. He likely doesn't get it, but he'll still fight in Atlantic City.

So I don't think he is very disappointed with the location, even though it still being Ward's home state may play a role in judging and the referee who always seems to cut Andre some slack.
Thanks for the correction bro,but tbh I thought both semi final fights should have been in Vegas..Cause the final fight will be held there I believe so why not have the last four there??I just thought it would help with getting all four fighters use to fighting there, and it would have got Ward away from Cali finally..

LOL @ the people saying he wants this in Nottingham just for his fans. Froch got the confidence taken out of his sails after losing the decision to Kessler, and now he's not so willing to fight just anywhere.

I love Carl and want either he or Johnson to win the tournament, but that's the truth.
Froch just fought away from home his last fight did he not??So I don't understand why ya said he is scared to fight anywhere else??Froch wants to fight in front of his fans,Johnson just joined the tournament tbh Froch deserves to fight at home imo he's earned it..And if everyone on this broad thinks Johnson is going to get robbed so much(must point out he's been robbed in America more time then anywhere else)he should be coming to KO Froch cause according to people on this web site it's his only chance or he will be robbed...

Give me a break,I just hope for a good fight is all Froch is going to fight Johnson anywhere at the end of the day...Froch wants to bring this home for his fans and imo he deserves to do so..

You're right, he loves his fans and thus would love to fight at home in front of a hometown crowd. He may be the first fighter have the attitude. Carl Froch; a true original.

If Froch wanted to fight at home, he shouldn't have signed a contract to fight in America. I don't think Johnson will get robbed in Nottingham, I don't care about that, I do care that Froch/Johnson is contracted to take place in America.

I'm a Froch fan, and am looking forward to him fighting Johnson on primetime US television, instead of watching on a stream early in the afternoon. The Super Six is put on by Showtime, and Froch hasn't had to cross the pond once yet. What's the big deal?

Look, Froch is in a tournament that required him to fight outside of the UK numerous times. Quit with all that "Froch deserves to fight at home" bull****, Froch deserves to honor the damn contract he signed when he joined the tournament, which includes the final two fights taking place in America.

Oh well. I guess fighting in front of 1500 hundred fans in America is better than nothing. Still, Froch could sell out the Trent Arena twice over for this fight. It makes no sense to stage this fight in a small casino, when there is a large arena and fan-base available to exploit over in England.

It's no wonder why boxing is losing ground to MMA. The powers that be just don't know how to run and organise the sport in a way that maximises its exposure to the public.

Glen has been robbed WAY too many times to have to agree to this. I understand Froch is probably frustrated that Ward is getting nothing but home fights, but that doesn't mean him getting a home fight would be okay.

No matter where they fight would it not air on Showtime??I'm from the US as well I just don't find it fair that Froch should have to fight from home in his last three out of four fights..While Ward is still fighting in his hometown..I can dig he sign the contract but come on Johnson was not even thought off in this tournament when he did..As far as him deserving it he does you know he does...

Johnson is fortunate to be in the tournament at all, he is a substitute. Froch is looking at Ward getting another fight in California and thinking, how can this be fair?

There is all the difference in the world between saying that a few judges may be corrupt (although if there was any hard evidence of that they would be in jail) and saying that all judges are corrupt (which is what you are saying, and which makes your cynicism so total that you are more to be pitied than censured and I feel sorry for you if you are really that cynical - you must lead a very sad life if that's how you see human nature generally.) And there is no "or" about it, any judge who scores differently depending on where they happen to be is corrupt. But I have never seen anyone post any actual evidence of such corruption. Most of the time bad scoring is clearly just down to incompetence.

For example, I have never seen any suggestion that Pierre Benoist, who scored the first Williams-Martinez fight 119-110 to Williams, was bribed, or was influenced by the home fans, or even that he had any nationalistic reason to be biased - he was just totally incompetent.
