LOL J dubb your just hating on Manny. If Bradley is a true winner would he say on the interview to let me see the tape to see if he really won the fight? Would he tell Arum sorry that he could not beat the man? LOL really pay attention and watched a lot of fight you can just observe the fighters body language being desperate and brocken down.

sounds like tim says he's a beast meaning pacquiao than he says something can't tell then it sounds like he says mayweather will beat him but mayweather will never stop him

                JMM II - indecisive

DLH - coming off loss & weight drained

Hatton - coming off 1st loss & damaged after KO to Floyd

Cotto - coming off destruction by Margarito & drained

Clottey - coming off loss to Cotto and never been world class

Margarito - coming off KO loss and still banned at time of fight & drained

Mosley - coming off loss & looked terrible in next 2 fights

JMM - clear win for JMM despite Pacquiao having him come up to a weight he claims he could not make till this day.

Take those fights away(and a historian could not factor in those matches as legacy wins because of the conditions) and Pacquiao has to rely on the rest of his resume.

He may not break top 100.

Manny was already demoted before he fought Bradley. Manny isn't #2 any longer.

He was never #1 because he never beat anyone to become #1. Manny was never the #1 WW. Manny was never the #1 jrMW. As of November Manny wasn't the #1 anything.

We all knew this was coming. All of the talk about "has Manny aged?" was just softening the blow. The excuses were already made. The scenario was already painted out.

Before Manny and Tim stepped in the ring, the whispers had already begun .. the seeds had already been planted .. the doubts were already apparent.

This performance by Manny was not worse than his performance against JMM or Clottey. Its just that his fans are not impartial and only see Manny doing well.

Those days are over. They hype is on a billboard for everyone to see.

Regardless of how this may have been orchestrated so that a rematch resulted, this match was important as it demonstrated what some of us have been saying for years: Manny only has his jab, jab straight left hand and once he's fighting someone who can actually box AND MOVE, he's a dud.

Pacfans are right. There is no argument anymore.
Good post! Keep dropping knowledge on these guys Jay!

bradley has a great case for winning this fight. he had it rough in some of the rounds, but he was the controller in more of them.

i hated the way HBO tried to take it from him with the tone of that interview and having Pac stood there right next to him like Tim couldn't even have his own interview. that kid worked so damn hard and came across so well in their promotion and the network just treated him like 2nd class and tried to make him feel small.
                Great post. I agree completely.

But now all this has happened, it's "God Bless CompuBox". I think CompuBox can be miss leading, but it usually reflects if the round was won by a wide margin. But when one guy is tracked to have landed say 16-17 punches, and one is tracked to have landed only 12-13, the guy that landed more by CompuBox might not have really won the round. Just look at Lara-Williams, most had that fight a wide UD for Lara. But Williams actually landed a lot of punches according to CompuBox.
My stance on compubox has always been the same.

It doesn't tell the whole story of the fight but when it comes to judging a fight it does a much better job than our current system.

That's why they're a waste of time and not accurate.
They are much more accurate than our system we use to judge fights at the moment.

First, let me safe it was a sloppy fight. I definitely think Manny had stamina issues and you could really tell by the 8th round. Next, a fighter does not have to dominate a round with power punches to win it. I thought Manny gave away plenty of rounds with his lack of activity. A round is 3 minutes and Manny clearly was not fighting for 3 minutes of every round which should have affected the scores and did. I scored it a draw, but was not surprised at the outcome considering Manny's last fight against Marquez in Vegas. Judges are aware of Manny's volume punching style and are aware of the crowd roaring anytime Manny throws a flurry of punches. Whether they land or not. Lastly, the judge that scored the fight for Manny still thought Bradley won 5 rounds. Most people on this board do not think Tim won 5 rounds. My question is how to most people score fights? Do you take past rounds in consideration when scoring the next round? I hope not, because each round should be scored as a different fight. Fact is, the fight was close because Manny did not fight for 3 minutes of every round.
