Funny how we are talking about Cotto on a Pac v Bradley sticky. Maybe its because no one is giving a **** arse about this fight. Pac star isnt shining as bright anymore since his loss..i mean "win" against JMM

Wow, that's your response? Please explain how Cotto, a 31 year-old, over the hill vet with two fairly recent bad TKO losses poses a greater threat to Floyd than Bradley does to Pac(a fighter who just "lost")?

There is plenty of interest in this fight, its just not as controversial as there isn't really any legitimate argument as to why this is a bad fight for Pac. On the other hand, there's plenty to criticize in the other fight even though at his best, Cotto was arguably better than Bradley is today.

I think the only real criticism, if there is one, is Bradley just beat Casamayor rather than fight Khan. Beating Casamayor shouldn't earn you a fight with Manny.

True, however, even before that fight he was the best option for Pac (aside from Floyd of course) by most people's standards. Funny how many people were giving Pac crap for fighting JMM instead of Bradley, and now he is fighting him its a crap fight?!?

For Pac being this monster of a PPV money maker so many make him out to be, no there isnt any buzz for this fight. And who said i wasnt interested in it? Read my other posts on this sticky. Wont be hard to find as not to many people have wrote on here. There is no interest by the casual fans. Casual fans make up a big portion of Pac fans but they dont care and many jumped ship after the JMM debacle. No one cares about this fight but real boxing fans and i am one. Do i think Bradley has a chance? yes i do and i think Cotto also has a chance to win. And to counter your last argument i still think Cotto is better than Bradley today.

Thats because like i have said a MAJORITY of boxing fans saw him LOSE to JMM and now he isnt this invinsible fighter anymore. The fans that only followed him have left (not all but a big chunk) and they dont know who Bradley is. I think its a great fight but im a boxing fan not a fanboy. NO BUZZ

I think him refusing to fight Khan changed people's mind about bradley, especially on this board where everyone is looking to use the label ducker. It isn't surprising people complain that not fighting Khan and beating Casamayor is not a way to earn a fight with Floyd or Manny. I think its still a good fight. But I think Bradley beating Khan then fighting manny makes this a much better fight.

*gasp* there's no interest in the casual fans for a fight over two months away that has yet to be promoted and/or trained for?!? Totally going to bomb, right? Sure it probably won't pull in the 1.2+Mil we're used to but there's no way it'll do worse than the Clottey fight and do you know what, I don't care, it's a legit fight and should be damn entertaining.

Yea, it would have been better for him to fight Khan, however, its pretty obvious that didn't happen so he could get a Pac fight. I swear, boxing fans are f*in annoying. He "ducked" Khan to fight Pac and Khan lost his fight but Bradley's stock went down?!? Dude didn't loose (remember the Khan Peterson odds) and is stepping up to Khan's daddy, how is that a bad thing?!?
