Its not dude , but unfortunately evrything is so black and white. If you don't fight an opponent a poster wants you to, then its a duck. Floyd ducked margs and cotto, manny ducked raheem and guzman, blah blah. You can't do anything with fans with that mindset.Yea, it would have been better for him to fight Khan, however, its pretty obvious that didn't happen so he could get a Pac fight. I swear, boxing fans are f*in annoying. He "ducked" Khan to fight Pac and Khan lost his fight but Bradley's stock went down?!? Dude didn't loose (remember the Khan Peterson odds) and is stepping up to Khan's daddy, how is that a bad thing?!?Comment

I haven't either really . . . I tihnk TR does't want to invest too much in the promotion, because they know that it is the type of fight that either sells itself (to the extent that it will sell). . . Think they are expecting around 800-900k for this one. . . Anything over 750k would be a success. . . Bradley doesn't have the name recognition. . .Comment

you continue to respond to me like im a fanboy even though i have already told you im not. I like this fight. I think it is legit but at the same time this is maybe the second debate i have had about this fight since it was announced. Is it gonna bomb? i dont know and i dont care. Like all PPV fights i will get it even if it doesnt have any buzz.*gasp* there's no interest in the casual fans for a fight over two months away that has yet to be promoted and/or trained for?!? Totally going to bomb, right? Sure it probably won't pull in the 1.2+Mil we're used to but there's no way it'll do worse than the Clottey fight and do you know what, I don't care, it's a legit fight and should be damn entertaining.Comment

Aint that the truth. Floyd is a genius when it comes to hyping his fights with controversey. Pac just has a legion of die-hard fans and has tapped into the mainstream. I think Floyd fights always have more buzz but come fight night, they pull in the same ##'s. Different marketing tactics, same result.
It's kind of human nature to take sides and defend it irrationally. Happens in politics, religion, sports, hobbies its just how people work I guess.Comment

your basis? ...Thats because like i have said a MAJORITY of boxing fans saw him LOSE to JMM and now he isnt this invinsible fighter anymore. The fans that only followed him have left (not all but a big chunk) and they dont know who Bradley is. I think its a great fight but im a boxing fan not a fanboy. NO BUZZComment
