But according to Martinez Cotto is still a no-hoper whether he's the biggest name around MW or not. According to your logic Martinez should keep his mouth shut about Pacquiao slection of opponents because they make Pac 10x the money.

IMO a fight between Pac/Martinez will never get made. If Pac goes to high and gets beat it is because the size difference. If Martinez has to come to low and loses it would be blamed on the weight loss.

The disparity between these two guys is two great and it would be hard to iron a a happy medium with both guys can compete without compromising too much

People want Pac because he's the one that bring in 10x more money, but the fact is Martinez has fought more tough opposition in the last 2 years then most and he's done it on HBO; no ppv, no big name opposition, just working his way up on impressive wins. Now Cotto is the no. 1 jmw in the world, and honestly I think Martinez has earned an a big name fight.

At least he's fighting someone who's earned his title, however easily, instead of it being handed to him.

Pac came to a 150 fight weighting in at 144....144. Martinez probably can't even make 154 and if he did he would be very drained. Fight night would look like 148 Pac and 170 Martinez. We have some morons here saying that Pac is ducking Martinez if he doesn't fight him. But when it comes to Martinez fighting Pascal or Dawson at a catchweight of 170, they say it's not fair and that they are to big for Martinez LOL.

Whenever Martinez start beating ex lightweight champ at 170 where he's the smaller man than i'll consider it. Right now he's fighting guy his size so it's not impressive.

With Floyd not fighting this is boxing's #1 and #2 guy, even when Pac won he was to far streached for 154 and some ppl have the impression that the fight can be done. A lot of ppl don't understand how weight in boxing is such an important factor

Martinez has worked his way up from 147. 160 is as far as he can probably go. He was the smaller man against Pavlik, yet there's so much hate.

Wait, isn't the front runner for Pac's next opponent a lw, but i'm sure your fine with that aren't you?

Yeah, I've got a comment. Sergio's criticism of Pac is that he fights NOTHING BUT no-hopers. Sergio just wants to fight ONE for a payday. That's the difference.

Facts are clear, Cotto is a Pay-per-view draw and Maravilla wants to be exactly that, clearly confirmed the same night. Martinez was the freeby, while more people watched Cotto's for 50.00 bucks. People gladder pay the money to watch Cotto. If that doesn't tell the story, I don't know what does. Plus, from all the Stars He is the only one who will face the #1 P4P.
