Well for starters, lol,If they fought,it would be at 154.That's 1 division higher than where Pacman campaigns.Plus he has owned a title of 154.

But lets not sit there & act like Pacman fought some beast in his jump to 147.Don't get me wrong,it's not his fault Oscar ate kangaroo meat & was 144 a month before the fight, but U get the picture.

But it does matter because Martinez wants to move down to 154 to fight former titlist & 1 guy campaigning in his weightclass.I do find it funny though that when people talk about Martinez moving up,it's against the best fighters in the division, why can't he pull a Pacman & fight someone like Manfredo or Coddrington at a catchweight for his title??

It depends on the person who reads it. Personally, I don't think Martinez cares if he is a no-hoper or not. It goes back to my original point: It's all about the money. Also I personally do not think Cotto is no-hoper but that is just a personal opinion in which everyone is entitled too. Some people think he is, some don't. I'm not flaming anyone, this is too my personal opinion.
We personally know Cotto is not a no-hoper but from what Martinez is implying,'Middleweight king Sergio Martinez has taken a swing at Manny Pacquiao over his selection of opponents' that's clearing stating that Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley are no-hoper. If he' wants to fight Cotto who is part of Pac slection of oppoents, he should keep his mouth shut.

Serg mentioned Manny fighting No hopers. You would have to assume that he was referring to the names listed above.. because I KNOW he isn't talking about the legends he fought at the lower weights.

LOL and where does Pac campaigns?...at 147 which is his 7th weight division who during fight night only weight 148. Martinez probably can't even make the 154 anymore and if he did he would be what....170 on fight night. That's like 20lbs plus. But if Martinez was to fight an opponent 20 plus pounds than it's not OK LOL.

Please don't compare Manfredo to Coddrington to like of Cotto, Clottey, Margarito or Mosley. Plus Manfredo used to be a 160 fighter, that's only Martinez 2nd weight class. According to your logic, he need to fight an ex world champ at lightweight.

Yeah, but between U & I,I feel that U are a sensible man.All he said was no hopers bro.I get the feeling he's talking about lately.Oscar couldn't have been a no hoperPacman was the major underdog.Neither Hatton, undefeated lineal champ at 140.Neither Cotto for that matter,he was the #2 welterweight at that time.In my opinion he's talking about Pacman's last 3 fights. The point is,Martinez's words can only be speculated on.That boy shouldn't put words in Martinez's mouth.

Since being a gentleman he is not getting the fights he wants he might be using a tactic to get a rise out of ppl and more attention. I think if he wasn't in the position he is now not too many ppl would even care of any of his statements

I have every right to compare Margarito's title shot at 154 to Martinez fighting Coddrington or Manfredo at a catchweight for a title shot.

Well we're hear to argue with all the other ******s that that's what he said. Whether he is using it as a tactic or not, he's simply implying that Pac slection of opponents is a no-hoper but at the same time he wants to fight one of them LOL.
