Yeah, that's why he wants to fight Cotto. Get the **** outahere!

Joshua says a lot of stuff after he losses, has an excuse after every lost, that is what Clottey does. So I don't understand your point.

Not saying that Clottey is a better win but just as good as a win.

Why are you ignoring the fact that Dzinziruk had only 1 fight in over 2 years. And, it was against Daniel Dawson? Should points be taken away from that?

Why are you ignoring the fact that the last time. Dzinziruk beat a top 10 guy was a bordeline top 10 guy was 35 months prior in facing Martinez/

You're looking at all the negative for Clottey but ignoring the negatives going for Dzinziurk.

      Why is that?

Who's ******ed again? Where did I ever mention Clottey was the better win? The ******ed is you who doesn't have reading comprehension...

Do you want to go back and read what I said?

If you take everything into account from both sides. It was just as good of a win. Neither one was better. And, if one was better, it wasn't "much better"...

So how can you compare that to Margarito? It doesn't make sense...

It's comparable to Hatton who got KO'd at a weight-class higher but was still undefeated at JWW and was coming off a win against a top 10 JWW...Now that is similar...

There is no Margarito comparison, there is a Hatton comparison though.
Similar in the sense that Margarito was dominated by Mosley prior to Pac beating him, putting a damper on Pac's win.

To be fair to Hatton, it was the way he was defeated rather than where he was defeated.

No one expected a 2nd round KO at Hatton's best weight class except for Freddie Roach.

Same goes for Sergio's KO over Williams. No one really expected it to end so quick.

I guess were just looking at it from different angles.

Instead, Martinez is focusing his energy on getting fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto.

Manny is about to dance with Sugar Shane...I HOPE Sergio isn't calling Shane a "No-Hoper" because that would be ****** on his part....he's calling out Cotto like he isn't a beating away from his expiration date...smh

A 10yo triangle theory will not clarify anything.

Besides, Martinez KTFO the guy that beat Margo when he was in his prime.

Cotto is now at a better weight, his mind is in a better place, his confidence will be up, and he now has a trainer..... but imho, he should go for Margarito next.

If Sergio cannot land a fight with Pac or May - and you can't blame him for trying man, those two paydays are by far the biggest in boxing - then he should go for the top middleweights, or the best at 154.

Cotto has a title, and he is one of the best at 154. I've seen worse fights, but I dunno if Miguel is up for a challenge like that at this stage.

Because, you're an idiot...Why compare Pavlik to Oscar? Why not compare it to Hatton? Why pick and choose? The win over Cotto is better than the win over Dzinziruk. I mean if we're picking and choosing. The win over Oscar is better than the win/draw over Cintron.

I mean if we're going to pick and choose then so be it...If you're going to debate wins make sure there are comparable in some regard. Not just BS comparisons.

Just because Cotto didn't want to face P-Will(which is not true BTW) doesn't mean that the P-Will win is better.

That's like me saying because Floyd didn't want to fight Johnston or Margarito. Then a win over either would be better than a win over Floyd...

I mean is a ******ed ass logic.

Real talk, no insults or disrespect from my part right now...But, what kind of childish logic is that? Seriously man?

                1. Manny fought Margo for a vacant 154lb title that was then given to Saul Alvarez.
                2. besides Floyd, Berto, and the best at 140 who would move up to 147 , what other big names are out there for Manny
                3. if its not such a stretch to consider Floyd vs Martinez then why is it so hard to imagine Pac vs Martinez.

this is a smart move for martinez before he starts considering anyone else. concentrate on Floyd, and when it comes time to fight go back to 160 and from there the sky's the limit if he wants to pursue the winner of Bute Kessler or anyone else who can give this guy what he's looking for. why would you not want to make a huge payday and have the sportsworld knowing who you are. right now i have a feeling many outside of Boxing don't know and appreciate Martinez like we do.

I also want to see Pac fight Martinez, but not at a weight where he has proven to be unable to make. Pac faced Margarito at a 150 catchweight but was only able to make 144, giving him a 17-lb disadvantage come fight night. If he faces Sergio at 154, Pac would be giving up at least a 22-lb advantage come fight night. Where is the sport in that? Only Pac haters who really want to see him lose no matter what would salivate over that prospect, but that doesn't make them true boxing fans.

It's either Sergio makes the sacrifice to fight Pac at 150, same as Margarito, or he shuts up about calling out Pac. It's THAT simple.

                • It's obvious Sergio Martinez is a high risk low reward fighter.

His promoter sucks, Sergio Martinez could of been famous when he was younger but now hes 36 and NOW is receiving the popularity he deserves.

If Sergio Martinez was a cash cow, Pacquiao/Mayweather/Cotto would actually take a risk for the good reward but its a bit too late at the age of 36.

Your point? Margarito beat up Kermit Cintron who tied with Martinez which obviously Martinez should of won that fight.

But im just stating your quote does not prove anything.
