I like this fight. Berto gets name opponent and opportunity to prove he no slouch and Ortiz gets shot at redemption. He did after all **** in there with Maidana before he quit. Two fighters eager to prove worth. Hell yeah

Roberto Duran once quit during a fight and is still one of the baddest mofos ever to walk into the ring.one loss is not the end of his career look at Khan got koed by Prescott and is now on the verge of being a lineal champ.

That was frustration, though. It doesn't excuse what he did, but that wasn't a balls thing, he just got angry. Ortiz got roughed up and decided he didn't want any more, even saying "I don't deserve to get beat up like this." It's a different kind of quitting.

There is a major doubt(however), that Berto hits anywhere as hard as Maidana. Use what limited common sense that you posses and analyse the two fighters fights. It should be fairly obvious that Maidana hits harder than Berto!

ORTIZ quit vs MAIDANA but the past is the past;i hate people that remember the bad steps of others;BERTO is better to be carefull because i remember his fight with COLLAZO and ORTIZ is southpaw like COLLAZO,ORTIZ is a better boxer than COLLAZO(i like COLLAZO too) and ORTIZ is more puncher than COLLAZO and ORTIZ comes with more stamina than COLLAZO(the reason COLLAZO lost that fight)...........!!!

Its not even a question who hits harder, Who has Maidana really knocked out, couldnt get rid of Khan, I chalk some of that up to exhaustion but either way, if Berto landed those same shots against Khan, dude is asleep, Don't compare a small LWW power to a natural Welter power. use your common sense
