A lot of water weight going on there... and yeah Berto puts on water weight himself.. but just looking at the two fighters, Berto is so much bigger...

Did you see Berto in the Quintana fight? He was absolutely shredded... as lean as Ive seen him in his entire career... I dont know how the hell he could ever make 140lbs... but Ortiz does, and does well...

I mean Hatton goes up to 170 in between fights, he certainly isnt bigger than Dirrell on fight night

Yeah he has... hard to look good against them, although knocking out Quintana looked great, but he still had a bit of a tough time in the beginning...

The chin thing, I dont know if its as bad as its made out to be... Ive seen him get dropped a lot like Gamboa has gotten dropped... Out of position or didnt see the punch... they both get right back up though..

Except the ONE time Berto.. WAS phased, and sort of stumbled back to his corner, and they started re wrapping his glove for no apparent reason to stall time ....

Doesnt mean he has a glass chin though... if anyone gets caught with the right punch they are going to get stunned... theyre human beings you know.

Im not saying he has a great chin, but I dont think its the glass its made out to be... not yet anyway.

if ortiz fights like he used to(more aggressive) i think it will be the first time since berto won the title that he will be facing an opponent who's fast and hits hard,unless i'm wrong i cant recall everybody he's faced but ortiz is definitely faster than quintana,collazo,hernandez,can't remember the rest and i think he hits harder too..berto doesn't have the best chin and if ortiz fights more aggresive he has a big chance,he just better not hold back if berto lands a couple of big shots

I think Victor is gonna give a great account of himself in this fight. But I dont think it will be enough to beat Andre. All the "Victor is a JWW" talk needs to cease. He is clearly bigger than Andre, not in just height, but he is bigger all the way around. Younger with longer reach. The kid does have a chance. But like I said, Andre wins it.

Ortiz is not bigger than Berto. Berto played running back in high school and weighed almost 190lbs..he is a VERY big welterweight as far as thickness and muscle mass go.

Ortiz can win this fight if he actually sticks to his game plan, but that's kinda like Mosley sticking to a game plan..it's just not going to happen. If Ortiz boxes he will win rounds, but once he starts fighting he is going to take a beating. Berto is just too good of an athlete for Ortiz to trade with. However, if Orrtiz controls his the fight with his jab, picks his spots, and uses lateral movement he can certainly win this fight. the real question is, will Ortiz gas like he did against Peterson, because if he does he is going to get stopped. There should be absolutely no talk of Ortiz being a JWW, he has plenty of size to fight as a full WW.

OOrtiz has loads of natural talent and skills like I already said but as soon as Berto hits him hard and flush, he is gonna give up but even if he don't the difference is skill and natural talent in Berto is way above Ortiz . Ortiz could not handle Maidanas power and Lamonts speed and Berto is faster and stronger than both And once again you can not compare a small LWW power to a natural Welter, especially one who started his pro career at LMW

ORTIZ quit vs MAIDANA but the past is the past;i hate people that remember the bad steps of others;BERTO is better to be carefull because i remember his fight with COLLAZO and ORTIZ is southpaw like COLLAZO,ORTIZ is a better boxer than COLLAZO(i like COLLAZO too) and ORTIZ is more puncher than COLLAZO and ORTIZ comes with more stamina than COLLAZO(the reason COLLAZO lost that fight)...........!!!
