  • I don't really like any of these guys but I'll be rooting for Ortiz. Ortiz kinda reminds me of Panchito Bojado if anybody even remembers him...

      • why is berto running his mouth for??? who has he fought, no one. A smaller fighter in juan urango gave berto trouble. start fighting better fighters and then run your mouth.

Duran was also already established as one of the greatest lightweights of all time by that point, while ortiz was being matched carefully before Maidana. Plus Duran quit from frustration while Ortiz quit because he was about to be knocked out. There are still questions about Ortiz's' heart.

It might be relevant and it might be a factor but really only if there was a pattern. I don't question when fighters quit because Ive never been hit like that over and over while being fatigued. I think way too many of us on here jump to conclusions and talk about sh it we have no idea about. It's funny you have ******s like Margarito and his genius trainer who almost died in the ring against PAc(I will give him credit for having a big heart or you could say being somewhat ******) but he could have literally died that night against Pac , At what point do you say enough is enough? Now one it becomes a pattern than to me it is obvious the fighter has mentally checked out, but 99.9% of those guys still have more heart than 99.9% of us.
