Though he won, he knows that he was over-stretched at Junior MM that's why he returned back to WW! and the fact his ideal weight class is at JWW because he could not even expand to full 147lbs during fight night! Now you're suggesting that he should fight someone like 160 pounder Martinez!!! Might be your nut really not working, or you're being ******, or your obssession is to see Pac lose to someone else, no matter who, be that of martinez or Klitschko's! Take your pick!
    Rubbish SceneSpectator !!

    Firstly.....

FACT: Manny NEVER intended to fight a genuine JMW.

They just wanted to cheat a JMW title by fighting a welterweight bum.

This interview was taken just before the Margarito fight.....

"But, like Freddie and Alex told me, from here on out Manny will stick to the welterweight division. They feel 147 pounds is the realistic limit for him and I can’t disagree. They know the fighter inside out.".....
    http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/10...-pacman-fights

Manny never intended to defend that title.

    Secondly.....

If Manny's " ideal weight class is at JWW " as you correctly suggest, then why does Pac demand that Marquez come up to 147 ?

    Simple.....

"However, this fight only makes sense to me if it takes place at junior welterweight (and I would hope Marquez would weigh-in under 140 pounds). Why Pacquiao and company refuse to even consider fighting Marquez at 140 pounds (instead of the 144 or 147 they stipulate) is a very good question. The answer is obvious: they want every conceivable advantage against their aging but still-dangerous nemesis.".....

Now, to all honest boxing fan's, Manny's cherry-picking is making him a laughing stock. Even normally genial writers are slagging Manny off now.

But as far as Manny's non-boxing fan-boy's are concerned.....
..... they don't know **** about boxing, so they just resort to the old lame excuse..... "Manny is the draw"

Pac overstepped a bunch of legit fights to fight tainted fighters. With all the streaking or unbeaten fighters around he hasn't fought one.

You would think if you’re a fan of a specific fighter you would want to see your fighter in the boxing ring as much as possible; not the Mayweather fanboys, they are of a different breed they just like looking at posters of Floyd hanging in their bedroom wall and don’t seem to be disappointed at Floyd’s reluctance to get back into the boxing ring.
They never require Floyd to do anything. They're not Pac fans, yet all they want is to see is Pac should fight this and fight that.

Pac is set to fight Mosley and Fraud is available for Martinez. *****s need to tell fraud that he needs to retire for good.

I agree, Hatton was legit, and I credit Manny for that. But it is highly doubtful that he was still the best at 140. He had been struggling against lesser opposition and just had his clock cleaned by Mayweather.

          He was ripe.

Pac just validated he belonged to the WW when he demolished ODLH, after that he went to JWW to defeat Ricky.. while Floyd chosen LW JMM to meet him at WW, and not satified cheated him by coming overweight from the agreed catchweight, and as expected, he schooled JMM. Pac returned back to WW but that time, Mosley was then locked-up with Berto, Pac then picked Cotto after failed facing Floyd. When Berto withdrew in connection to the earthquake disaster in his homeland Haiti, that was the time Floyd picked up Shane, and IMO, because of too much pressure from fans of not taking a bigger opponent from that of JMM.. and the rest is history. So, there was no way that Pac and Shane should met in Pac's history at WW, other than just now. What do you think??
Nah brah, Mosley fought Margartio in January 24th, 2009, Pac fought Hatton on May 2, 2009 and Cotto fought Clottey on June 13th 2009. Shane was chasing Pac for the whole time. Before he fought Hatton and after. Pac went right for Cotto. Floyd wanted to fight Shane Mosley years ago and Shane didn't take the fight. You can say what you like and think but you can't change history.

I hear you but regardless, Ricky Hatton was undefeated at 140 and held the title.

That's exactly what I'm saying Lead. Hatton was not the best and was ripe just like Manny knew Oscar, Cotto, Margarito was and thinks Shane is but I have a feeling he's gonna be in for a shock with Shane.

Wrong... Mosley was inactive for over a year after he destroyed Margarito.. This is when we had the boxingscene articles come out about Shane stating WHY he was THE man for Manny to fight instead of Cotto.. Shane made it very clear he wanted to swing swords with Pacman.. He chose to go with Cotto.. HE MADE that choice... Though Cotto was a "champion" after beating Jennings and defending against Clottey... It was Shane who had been waiting in the wings after blasting out THE man who beat THE man himself. Cotto was a fair/legit choice for Pac at the time, but it is no question that Shane was THE man at 147 at the time... Then Floyd went on to fight AND beat Shane (...and he didn't even CARE about trying to get the title for it.)

Hatton was technically the best fighter in the division on paper and the big money making by fighting him didn't hurt either. I give Pac Hatton but he still hasn't fought anyone coming off of a big win or is highly regarded. I'm thinking about a Shane upset too. I think too many people are counting him out because of his fight against Floyd and Mora. Both styles are a nightmare for Mosley. Pac has a more offensive style. Could be entertaining while it last.

Can't the same thing be said about Pavlik? Those situation were no different yet Martinez victory of Pav is greatest thing since slice bread even though h was dominated by an older fighter in worse fashion. Hatton was competitive than any Floyd opponent since JLC. Kelly didn't win so much as a round against B-hop and has been mentally broke since then.
