when sergio becomes more widely considered p4p #1, after 1 or 2 fights he will be considered to be fighting bums and cherrypicks,
cuz the guys he's fighting aren't number 2 or 3 p4p and are'nt prime, undefeated beasts

it happens to EVERY p4p #1 fighter
Then he would be welcomed in the Mayweather and Pacquiao club, It comes with the territory of being the number 1 fighter in the world.

wait a minute... theres... Sebsatian Zbik... Felix Sturm... Sebastian Sylvester and... Dimitry Pirog. By the time he finished them off, floyd and pac would be long retired.

Sergio is 36! He'd be good to retire then too and be easil recognised P4P king.

              Unlike Pac and May.

See I got confused with Martinez. He says he doesn't want to go down, then he says he will fight Cotto and other guys.

I'd like to see him fight Pirog (his team isn't having it for some reason) or Golovkin or Sturm at 160.

He may be just chasing the money which is cool, and I don't blame him but he makes some confusing statements about who/what division he will fight in.

then just say he needs a fight that will give him the biggest payday of his career and it ain't happening at 160, it has to be floyd or pac or cotto.

I understand that, but it ain't happening even if I want to.

Sergio Martinez is forcing the issue. He is easily top 4 P4P on anybody with boxing knowledges list. He will fight everybbody. He has a fan friendly style with a gentleman personality. If this guy was from Mexico, UK, or the US/Puerto Rico, Phillipines he might possable be the biggest draw out there. He will never face Pacquiao or Floyd not because he doesnt want to its because Sergio would be the strongest boxer either has faced with the least amount of reward. Bob Arum is not good for the sport of boxing he is good for his boxers. Making the most money off of the worse boxing Matchups.

Who has Pacquiao, Cotto, Margarito, Chavez Jr., and Juan Manuel Lopez fought lately. Top Rank brings fighters up great while letting down boxing fans. If Manny keeps fighting Mayweathers leftovers he needs to be called out also.

Right now my 4 P4P list is

                    1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
                    2. Manny Pacquiao
                    3. Sergio Martinez
                    4. Nonito Donaire
