      It costs too much money.

We'll never have a champion tennis player.

The weather clearly doesn't help either.

Well either way the English have been poor at both. In Golf it was always Tiger and Phil. Yeah, you won some Ryder Cups but an Englishmen never was could compete with the two pillars at the top.

If your "athletes" tried to play proper football, they'd run into each other and fall over their own feet.

It actually requires skill and intelligence.

Little kids play soccer and we are ranked in the top 15 in the world. We even tied a top 5 team in England and beat the eventual champion Spain in a friendly. That's how great we are.

That skill and looked intelligence looked alright after getting a draw and nearly victory by clanging the post in the last matchup. Maybe you guys aren't that much better than us in Soccer...... Spain got it too.

                    Yeah I agree.

It's a kind of snobbishness really.

If the argument was: If we had more boxers we'd have better fighters at all levels of the game.

I'd have to agree with that. It's basic numbers.

Pinpointing specific athletes because they are fast and big and athletic doesn't hold any water.

A potential American Heavyweight Champion might have been a policeman, a doctor, a bum picking up benefit cheques, a naked man butler. Who the f.uck knows? Any old f.ucker might have been a great boxer given the right environment and mentality.

You are a typical yank, you just cant give people their just due's, if their not American.

Always been this, its always been that etc.

                      Look at the rankings yourself.
