Lebron James is far more likely to have been another audley harrison or michael grant than the next Muhammed Ali.

This excuse is lame, i am sick of excuses.

      you are foolish

brock lesnar spent his youth wrestling

he's one of hte most dominant collegiate wrestlers ever
he's a two time national champion (edit, only nat champion once)

and he STILL played a year in the NFL on talent alone.

lesnar's loss in his first bid for a national title?
came to a man named steven neal
who played 10 years in the NFL and won three superbowl rings with the patriots
      another legendary athlete.

the greatest big athletes on the planet are in the states playing basketball
      and then football

the men int he HW division are largely pedestrian in comparison

Wlad and vitali had the athletic quality to enter other sports and succeed

      and lo and behold
they are the only HOFER's at the top right now

I seriously doubt it. And remember, Basket ball and Football are pushed is High school. If boxing was available in high school, there'd be even more American fighters than ever. Boxing has always been a sport that was only available to a select few. Basketball and Football are right there in your face. So before you start hating on us, learn whats really going on. You make your self look like a fool to those of us who see the big picture.
Boxing isn't a feasible career path for 99.9% of people everywhere.

Maybe more feasible in third world countries where it is s.hit or bust.

And we don't do boxing in high school either, and if we somehow did. We'd probably be dominant as it would be a pure numbers game - we'd have more boxers than everyone else at every level of the sport.

The argument seems to be this: If we had more boxers we'd have better fighters.

        Well.........obviously.

        It's a ****** argument.

If all we did in Britain for sport was box, we'd be the top dog. A pure numbers game.

It's just excuse that all HWs playing football. Lately European,Latin and other nations joined the boxing intensively. In result yanks couldn't compete with them, so they needed to make up some excuses. Why there are so many Americans in MMA? Why those MMA HWs are not playing football?

You think Basketball isn't global because the English don't play or Hockey because you don't play, despite Hockey being big in Eastern Europe.
No it isn't. You saying it doesn't make it so. Baseball has presence outside of USA in a few latinoamerican countries (not all by a long shot, go to Brazil or Argentina and tell them baseball is big there, they'll laugh in your face) and Japan, that's about it. And I'm not british BTW.

What sports other than Soccer, Rugby and Cricket(I guess) will make you millions of dollars in England? I think even you will agree that there are more sports in America that you can making a very wealthy living at. Soccer by far is your number 1 sport and it's not even close. Every single kid grows up wanting to kick the ball. In America it's more spread out. Every kid in the ****** wants to play football or basketball, every white suburban kid wants to play baseball, every mexican american wants to lace up the gloves and every rich old **** wants to hit a golf ball.

Do you really think that boxing is pushed in high schools in Eastern Europe, Mexico, Asia and etc, so only Americans don't have boxing in the school.

So you think the US is the only country where any sport besides boxing is taught and coached at school level?

Boxing is not a sport to make millions at.

                    No way.
