Are you trying to compare NFL Europe to the globalization of basketball or baseball? Come on! Baseball is huge in Latin America. It's quickly creeping up on soccer. Basketball is pretty big now too.

Football is the only sport that isn't global, yet.

      Too late.

It will sell out in one-off games. But people won't get behind an American Football team unless of course there is somehow a franchise in each country that is allowed to compete in the NFL.

That euro league was a decent idea but it bombed.

I think football will never catch on anyways due to the great costs. Think of how much pads and all that costs. One of the reasons boxing, baseball, and soccer have become so global is because it is very cheap to play.

I don't think it necessarily has to catch on.

There are NFL fans in this country if we had our own team, even I'd be interested.

It'd be a British based team made up of American players anyway.

Potentially, a lot of revenue in it.

          I doubt it's feasible.

            Oh really?

And what are the Fat Yanks gonna say when other countries eventually catch up in those sports?

They don't say anything. TBH, Latin America has just as many good players in baseball than Americans. Albert Pujols is from the Dominican Republic and is glorified to the highest regard. A lot of baseball players from other nations are highly regarded and accepted as great as well. The same holds true in boxing but you have to go out there and prove it against our best. We are a fair country and give respect when it's due.

Great athletes CAN make good fighters, but it's not transferrable, fighting is a mentality, maybe some can cross over but very few indeed.

Lebron James is far more likely to have been another audley harrison or michael grant than the next Muhammed Ali.

This excuse is lame, i am sick of excuses.
Well tell me this, do people in your country or even in Eastern Europe and places like Mexico have other sports (sports that are pushed on them from high school, boxing is not in high school) where they can make more money than boxing? I seriously doubt it. And remember, Basket ball and Football are pushed is High school. If boxing was available in high school, there'd be even more American fighters than ever. Boxing has always been a sport that was only available to a select few. Basketball and Football are right there in your face. So before you start hating on us, learn whats really going on. You make your self look like a fool to those of us who see the big picture.

It really is. Baseball is huge in the Americas and Asian Nations. During the World Baseball Classic it even branched out into the Netherlands/South Africa(lot of good players from there). The only places that don't play is European nations. Some of you Brits think you are superior it seems like. You think Basketball isn't global because the English don't play or Hockey because you don't play, despite Hockey being big in Eastern Europe.
