It's obvious that soccer is getting the very best athletes from a lot of nation but like I posted before that is and will always be your number 1 sport. Boxing on the other hand in America at one time was getting some elite talent. We don't like the change but it shows that the very best are playing in other sports ie NBA and NFL.
Everyone knows the Brits didn't stand a chance in the World Cup. They're alwys over confident and ******ed in everything they do. How did the US fair against World class competition? They did nothing.

Now bring it back to the heavyweight division and its obvious that you guys dominated until the Iron curtain came down and a lot more competition came from abroad. If Golota had been a bit more disciplined he may have lifted it for eastern europe earlier.

Trouble is he wasn't and no one has unified the title since Lewis. It was your chicken hearted Riud**** Bowe that didn't want to fight him after all.

Depends what you consider a great white athlete. In major U.S sports whites really do well in baseball(along with latin americans) and hockey(a lot of good American players). They also do very well in the NFL. NBA and Boxing is really the only sports that you can say that African Americans run us out of the "gym".

you do make legit points there are ebs and flows in boxing i understand that, but the fact is the most talented people in this country like football and basketball its more lucrative and a lot less harder on the body, seriously though we have a hurting sport and i could care less where the appeal comes from just as long as you give me some fcking boxing on saturdays.

Nah, admit the truth. Its the HW division in the USA thats not up to scratch. If it was we'd have a lot more interest in that level of boxing.

I'm no soccer expert but wasn't England ranked in the top 5, believe top 3 in the world? You can't make excuses after that egg you laid. I'll remember it to the day I die. America in some other competitions I believe beat Spain and rumbled tough with Brazil. Stop taking the U.S. lightly in soccer.
