    You could argue that.

No, we have seen your rugby players. Boxing is a speed game and we have seen your lumbering giants on the gridiron. Most NFL players are quick handed and move quick, like 4.4 40 yard dash quick. They have quick twitch fibers like a Floyd Mayweather Jr. has. I can promise you those rugby players would not excel in boxing. As for soccer, yes some of the smaller dudes certainly would do well but soccer is your sport, boxing(despite you creating it) is Americas sport and one of its past time. Soccer will always get your best athletes but for a while our best either played baseball, track, or boxing. We don't like the change and have seen the effects in recent decades.

Then you haven't seen rugby league. MUCH faster than Union and NFL combined.

you telling me european fighters wud rather get punched in the face than play soccer? Top tier euro soccer players make just as much money as NFL and NBA players.
Ran out of talent, cmon! America is always taking home the most medals in the Olympics and preforms very well at nearly any national sport. Look at what we did in the world cup to your Brits. A sport don't care about and a sport you pour your heart and soul into. America will always be loaded and never run out of talent. As for your second point I agree with. It's obvious that soccer is getting the very best athletes from a lot of nation but like I posted before that is and will always be your number 1 sport. Boxing on the other hand in America at one time was getting some elite talent. We don't like the change but it shows that the very best are playing in other sports ie NBA and NFL.

          answer me this............

If Mike Tyson was born in the mid-late 80's, would he be playing NFL?

What about George Foreman? Muhammed Ali? Joe Frazier? Sonny Liston?

These guys are FIGHTERS, born and bred.

Look at Kobe Bryant, and these other nba and nfl guys, do they have the same fighting spirit as the afore-mentioned?

          **** NO

Accept it Yanks, you're FIGHTERS are all either, lazy and out of shape, or just plain NOT GOOD ENOUGH

stop telling me that bloody Michael Vick or Lebron James could have beaten the Klitschko's if they were boxers.

Fact is you're fighters are either lazy, or just straight up suck.

The Klitschko brothers are Warriors, the Yanks have gone soft.
90 years of dominance is enough for me,sad to tell you your Klits crack no top ten alltime lists.

Get it straight, it is a MENTALITY that very few have.

You are born with it, you do not learn it.

Those who have it, will find their platform
i dunno about the other cuz i never watched them, but jeff lacy is no great athlete

Great athletes CAN make good fighters, but it's not transferrable, fighting is a mentality, maybe some can cross over but very few indeed.

Lebron James is far more likely to have been another audley harrison or michael grant than the next Muhammed Ali.

This excuse is lame, i am sick of excuses.
Then why have American Hws died out,we ran the hws for most of the 1900s,its because then boxing was 1 now boxing is a frindge sport and the true talents grow up playing football or basketball.

Yeah and the reason why Britain does dominate every weight division is because everyone is too busy playing football and cricket. Everything goes through fazes and to blame that on the assumption that every great athlete in america is playing throw ball in basket and eggball is bs. Fighters are born not made.
