Kolo Toure would be the heavyweight champion of the world.
If they let him off with failing a drugs test like they did with Roy and other fat yanks.

I just think it takes TOO LONG to earn the BIG MONEY IN BOXING and that may turn some athletes away from Boxing, also dealing with Promoters and guys seeing what happened to guys like Mike Tyson financially may have turned a lot of athletes away and lets be honest, every fighter is not going to be come a BIG DRAW, it has only been a hand full of Cash Cows in Boxing: Ali, Tyson, Oscar, Mayweather and Pacquiao
Tommy Z is a PRIME EXAMPLE OF THAT! He would rather play in the NFL and pursue his boxing career LATER because obviously the NFL is PAYING HIM MILLIONS compared to him just jumping into boxing and not really sure how much he will be paid for certain matches and not knowing when he will get the BIG PAYDAY FIGHTS...NO TOP ATHLETE IN AMERICA is turning down the NBA or the NFL for BOXING that is no excuse...THAT IS FACTS!
I think DIRTY EVIL PROMOTERS is what pushed a lot of guys from Boxing
As for the guys in America who do Box...especially the Heavyweight Division, you can tell by looking at their bodies they don't probably work as hard or eat correctly it is DISGUSTING to see some of these FAT GUYS in the Heavyweight Division lol
Also Trainers are now doing in JUST FOR MONEY, you don't see the Boxer/Trainer "Father/Son" type of relationship like you seen back in the day with ALI and Angelo Dundee, Hagler and the The Petronelli Brothers, Lennox Lewis and Steward, guys who stayed with the same Trainer LONG TERM...WIN OR LOSE, guys today are changing trainers every chance they getLast edited by sicko; 03-12-2011, 06:32 PM.

I could understand someone who is Spanish or French talking about soccer taking away great athletes, but England sucks at soccer. The only reason you won your lousy group in the WC was because the U.S. had two huge goals taken away by very blatant referee "mistakes".
Is England good at any sport? As far as I know, you suck at all of the international sports. While the U.S. is winning major competitions in basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, track and field, etc., the English are getting their asses handed to them in games they invented. And by great athletic countries like India...
One thing I know for sure... you guys suck big time in boxing.

Had Tye Fields been introduced to boxing first rather then B-ball would he have won all his fights...???
cuz **** for coming into a sport in 99 with little training he still won 45 fights be they against bums or not, 45 fights off pure thinking he's a giant and had a physical advantage is some what impressive, he may not have been great but damn, why did people think he was going to be good in the 1st place?, could it be because he was a former star athlete in a as-formentioned sport which American thrive in... **** im sure had there been some other guys or top b-ball players or football stars with his same mindset to join boxing, maybe they could've done better!!

Tommy Zbikowski is a pro boxer and NFL football player.
He's actually pretty good he has somewhat of an amateur career (70 fights or so) and he has some skills.
He's on the top rank undercard tonight.
Pretty cool that he plays pro football and finds time to do what he loves, box.

International sports? We only compete in international sports. Basketball? Ice Hockey? I thought you said INTERNATIONAL SPORTS? You dominate sports where you're the only mofos playing. GOOD ONE.
You have 5 times the population. But anyway once Khan toys with Bradley. And James DeGale makes Ward his girlfriend, we'll talk about who sucks at boxing.

Basketball is a very popular sport in the U.S. Boxing is not popular at all. I don't know a single person who competed in boxing as a youngster.
If you want to grow up to be a great basketball player, there is plenty of opportunity to develop in the US. It is very easy to get into a game at any age or skill level.
If you want to grow up to be a great boxer, you would pretty much have to move to a place where a good boxing gym existed. So that rules out 90% of the country...
The idea that you are just "born" a great boxer is just plain ******. You have to start at a young age and compete against tougher and tougher competition as you develop.
