duran could'nt stay away from those ropes and it was long enough for hearn to cath him cleanly with the staright right...what im sayin is pac would've gotten out of there becuase of his bettr footwork and better speed.....and yes pac moves his head better than duran did...

His head movement was leagues better then Pacquiao, Pacs looks pretty clumsy at times to me, Durans was more subtle and he used minimal movement so punches would just missed so he could counter more effectively.



Leonard tried that "macho crap" in every fight except the second Duran fight and the Hagler fight, this has been pointed out about a million times, maybe you should watch a little Leonard before you comment. Duran's D was exceptional, especially for a guy who threw a lot of punches, it was far superior to Pacs and hes also one of the most complete fighters of all time being a top 10 most skilled of all time, one dimensional is the worst way to describe to Duran.

That sounds about right. It would take a pretty bad defensive fighter for me to argue for Pac's D. I can only speak for his offense. I say Pac's punching speed would be too much in the end. Duran never shys away from an exchange and I think Pac's hands are too fast. Duran could possibly catch him with one that'll change the fight tho.

SRL was too macho a lot. It just wasnt against a fighter like Duran. He was safe to do that most of the time.

this fight would be great pure entertainment..but i think manny is to fast and his foot work is tooo good..i think duran drops manny once or twice but manny comes back and drops duran as well and wins by late fight stoppage after busting duran up..both go to the hospital after the fight

Pacquiaos footwork is great. Its as good if not better than SRLs. If this wasnt the case then why does RJJ and Manny Steward say this? These guys know alot more about boxing than you do. In terms of handspeed, Pacquiao is better than SRL by a long shot.

Duran was a power puncher who struggled against fighters with movement. Pacquiao used to be one handed and one dimensional but he has alot more to his game now and is the complete fighter. Pacquiao has destroyed all his recent opponents. Pacquiaos footwork will cause Duran alot of problems.

I don't care what they say, there are many experts that know more than them and would disagree, also you have to take into account that people are going to over-glorify current fighters.

Duran wasn't a power puncher, he could punch but he was so much more than that, and the second Leonard fight is overrated, he was only behind a couple of points and Pacquiao hasn't ever shown anywhere near the movement Leonard exhibited in the rematch. Duran had more dimensions to his game than Pacquiao and is much more complete, and does pretty much everything better than Marquez.
