I agree with Drew, it did add a stain to that fight... an already ****ty fight. It reminded me of that time we all queued up for a go on Drew's mom. We knew it was beneath us, but we did it anyway. Then when I went for ****, she went and farted. I'd say that's the nearest I've ever got to this fight.

But what I do like about Zag is his spirit. There, when tagged, he says: "If I'm going down, I'm going down slapping":

To me nothing special, I would have love to see this fight when RJJ was in his prime, Joe C saying he wouldnt have beaten RJJ in his prime makes me doubt why he doubt himself.

Roy although not primed had looked very good before the fight and very good after it. Its a good win. Many, many fans picked Roy to beat Calzaghe.

all you got to ask yourself is this,

roy & bernard knocked down joe when both were shot past prime & in their 40s.

                  Imagine if they were prime...

its a disgrace to boxing when a reigning world champion and top p4p fighter takes on a completely washed up corpse of a fighter who isnt even ranked in the top10 of the damn division.

especially when he won the title with a controversial decision his last fight and had a killer like bad chad willing to fight him too. the question isnt how much the roy jones fight helps calzgahes "legacy", its how much it hurts it. i say alot.

Jones and Hopkins had no interest in fighting Calzaghe in their primes and Calzaghe had no interest in them.
