well remember at the end of the day its a business man, they have to bring in money, and hatton is a big name for some reason (lol) so that would bring EVERYBODY more money...

148-154 is a division! There is no such thing as the 154 pound weight division! There is such a thing as the junior middleweight division which is any fight that takes place between 154-148 pounds.

If thats the case then once again I bring up Baldomir! Former Undisputed world champion!! He didn't just win some vacant title my friend!
You are dumb. I said before that Canelo deserves the title shot. He proved it. There are other fighters out there that deserve this shot at a title like Lara, Matirosyan, Angulo, etc.

No they arent Im speaking more of how it looked at that time. At that time Pinto was really dangerous for Cotto, and the fight was viewed as a 50-50, especially after seeing Cotto struggle with a bigger Ndou. Mathew Hatton is already looked as an easy win.

Anyway Id like someone like BigPoppaPump to tell us how people viewed the Cotto-Pinto fight at the time.

But thats not the case here so your point is irrelevent! In fact the catchweight works in Hattons favor since he is the smaller of the two.

Hattons last 3 opponents have a combined record of 99-3-3 before he beat them. What were the combined records of last 3 fights before pinto fought cotto?
