This isn't collage football were the rankings are determined by a popularity contest. The Ring rankings are determined by who wins or loses no matter how crumby the judges scorecards are.

      It's called integrity!
      Integrity?

The whole point go of Ring Magazine is to be the voice of the people rather than of what judges or sanctioning bodies say. I cant believe this doesnt register with some people. If they're supposed to follow what judges, promoters, sanctioning bodies etc say, why arent they 4 Ring Champs per division or Ring Diamond belts or people getting stripped of Ring belts.

      Integrity? Contradictory more like.

Judges employed by crooked sanctioning bodies like the WBC and most likely nudged by Don King scored that fight for Alexander

Agreed.. Devon should have been able to beat Kotelnik decisively and been much more competitive with Tim. I was surprised. Devon needs a change. Hopefully his team has his best interest and sees this.

LOL! The voice of the people? What makes you think that the people even know what the *** they are talking about!'

Fans are biased, ignorent, ******s who take sides and have no ability to judge a fight in neutral fashion.

LOL you want fights to be judged by the popular opinion of fans! In that case Oscar de La hoya would of never of lost a fight ever in his career.

If you have a problem with the judges and sanctioning bodies out there you do realize that the Ring magazine are not the ones who appoint them right?

                You're completely missing the point.

The Ring Magazine is supposed to cut out the bull****. 4+ Champions when everyone knows who the real champion is. Shady decisions when everyone knows who really won. They're not supposed to answer to any judges or promoters, etc. Thats the whole point! Thats what they're supposed to stand for but they make themselves look ****** in this instance by scoring a fight for Kotelnik and then having Alexander above him in their own rankings. Its ******.

The Ring is a bit of joke now...

The problem Dirk is not everyone thinks Alexander lost that fight. Tons of people thought he won.

So you want them to disregard "official" decisions?

And just make up rankings based on their personal opinions LOL!?

Then what would make them any diffrent than the WBC, WBA, IBF, or WBO?

Because thats exactly what the WBC, WBO, IBF, and WBA do already!
