bruce lee wasn't as good of a martial artist as chuck norris, no lie. chuck held the Professional Middleweight Karate champion title for SIX consecutive years. if you can seriously sit here and say bruce lee was the greatest based on the fact he beat challengers on movie sets and in random street fights (even if his challengers were great fighters), you don't know what you are talking about. Chuck norris beat the best PROFESSIONAL fighters for six consecutive years. see this interview where chuck basically says bruce wouldn't have even been on his level...

Sorry man I didn't see where he implied that, when the interview asked him he said he didn't know and all he kept saying was that they didn't want to go there (as far as fighting each other).

I know this will probably make some people mad but I see it like this. Bruce was a movie actor who was highly skilled at his form of combat.As far as I know he never fought in any kind of professional fights although I could be mistaken. Floyd is an undefeated pro boxer at the very top of his profession.He has made a huge fortune with his fighting skills. He has proven himself in combat against the best in the world 42 times. So I rate him above Bruce Lee. Just my opinion.

It will make some people mad because it is a completely uneducated post. Bruce Lee was a martial arts champion, he trained in wing-chun since a child. became the star pupil of legendary wing-chun trainer IP man. Then became a master, he won countless martial arts tournaments and performed countless and unforgettable martial arts exhibitions, and YES!! Lee defeated three-time champion British boxer Gary Elms. The guy was the pinnacle of an athlete, then for his fame he got acting proposals and deals etc. But he was not "actor that was in good shape" he was one of the greatest if not the most well rounded athlete to ever exist. His physical feats alone and UNBELIEVABLE! I suggest you and people in general read... man is it so hard? Before commenting on a subject.

I'm going to try to go to every Cotto fight until he retires. I don't know if many people know this but I'm a huge fan and have traveled all over to see his fights. I'm waiting for Miguel to make a home coming so I can finally go to PR.

You're nuts. Cotto has the best fan base in boxing. Despite the Margarito fight and Pac fight we still put 30,000 butts in Yankee Stadium to support our guy. If Manny or Floyd lost(even one fight) no one would care to see them lace it up any longer. You are way off base on Cottos fanbase.

Cotto doesn't jab much to the body..but if and when he does..he usually holds his right hand tucked covering well..that'll block the hook..just like Mayweathers..

I wish I was around since his espn days. Didn't know this board existed until last year. I'll be his fan until he retires. I just don't want him coming back 3 years later for a payday. ****** people everywhere up in this thread -__-, here a prime example of the typical oblivious individual. Ignorant of the facts that Bruce Lee was first a real multi division martial arts champion. And won(or better yet survived) countless gang fights... oh yes, for the idiots, he was part of a gang, not your typical crip/blood gang of now, but the traditional chinese school sector gangs or style etc.. His street fights are rather famous, Bruce had many of them (when I practiced in TKD I had many against other pratcitioners of Judo or JKD etc.. just grudges that always happen with people you don't even know) look just read, I ain't gonna relate all his feats and fights. But just so you know a FACT is Bruce was WAY more experienced in martial arts fights than Chuck... and would've killed chuck, chuck just ran the same circuit year after year, bruce ran the circuit but he had more street fights and personal fights.
