The problem today is people's idea of fighting (Boxing or MMA) professionally is the measuring stick, but you're limited to rules.
How many people are going to challenge Floyd on the street w/ out 6 bodyguards attacking the person? Bruce got challenged on the set of every movie he ever filmed (and by top notch Martial Artists in their own right) and he would annihilate them within seconds. Anyone who regards Lee as "just" an actor clearly never did their research on the guy. He was the real deal.

I know $20k is alot to risk for $2.5k but Mayweather isn't going to lose.. I just can't see anyway he loses to Cotto. Mayweather will light up Cotto with counters and then walk him down from rounds 6-12. I think it's a good bet, anyone else got opinions?
Cotto has never lost and not put on a beating on the guy that beat him. This is far from a "sure-bet" fight.
Mayweather-Baldomir was a sure bet fight.
On the contrary, if you get good odds, this is a good bet-for-the-underdog fight.

down payment on a condo
rents are at all time highs
mortgage rates are near all time lows
and they're giving the places away
you actually have 20 k in cash?
me too. join ze club. feels nice, huh?
i am in the process of negotiating on a condo that was worth 150 + in 2005 and is now on the market at around 80 grand.
i will be paying less each month to own a place than i do now to rent one.
do that
dont bet 20,000 on a fight when you only stand to win 2500
too much risk

Yh I seen Bruce Lees ghost the other day, came in my local and cleared it out. Bodies flying everywhere!
The only proof of anything near is a 30 sec clip of him embarrassingly prodding at a make believe ''heavy bag''
I am not saying he wasn't handy & he did do a huge amount for martial arts but until I see concrete evidence I refuse to believe he was anything more than an actor with a martial arts background, one rendered pretty much useless in this time. Van Damme & the likes are far more proven and that is reality.

theres a very good chance Cotto pulls off the upset.
Only a dumbass would throw down 20 g's to win 2,500

He did this intentionally for the cameras.
Floyd is a well-schooled fighter. He has a complete arsenal.
