What about the people who aren't Mayweather fans and adknowledge both fights weren't close and were actually clear wins?

        Neither fight was close......

        Both were clear wins...

If you win an upwards of 10 to 8 rounds.

        Thats a CLEAR win.

Clear wins doesn't mean the fight weren't close. I've never really heard anyone that wasn't a Floyd fan say the fights weren't competitive. Floyd didn't dominate either fight. He won them, but they were close.

          • I had it Mayweather-Cotto 9-3 and Oscar-Mayweather 8-4...I still think the Cotto fight was the closer fight even though I gave Oscar 4 rounds. Honestly, I think people gave Cotto rounds simply because they're not used to seeing Mayweather hit.

            • I say Oscar vs Floyd was closer. While Cotto had some limited success in pressing Floyd and driving him into the corners and ropes, he also paid a terrible price in the process, with Floyd's accurate counter punches. He was just eating too many punches in there from Floyd. Mayweather was never able to punish or land the kind of flush punches on Oscar as he had done Cotto.

                • 118-110/117-111.

All 3 cards were fine. It's just that some either A) Love Cotto to death, B) Hate Floyd with all the passion in the world, or C) Can't score a boxing match for s**t.

If it was left to the people in here to score a fight, Floyd probably would have got robbed, like he was almost robbed in the Oscar fight.

There's no way if people are being completely neutral that you could give Cotto more then 2-3 rounds, 4 at the very most and that's stretching it. 5 is absurd.
                    Btw look at your sig.

Me, not a fan of neither guy. I watched the fight 0 sound as well, not influenced by crowd or commentators.
