You gotta give Miguel his props. He defended very well against Mayweather's straight right hand, forcing Floyd to loop his right hand and unveil the uppercut; a weapon he hasn't really used all that much since his SFW days. Floyd is also emphasizing more on entertaining the crowd too, I don't think there was anyone that didn't enjoy Mayweather's display of boxing. Overall it was a great fight and Miguel had a lot more than most of us thought. What's worrisome is that Floyd is running out of opponents, I'd like to see more performances like that from him.
Since Sergio is fighting in October will Julio most likely, and with Pac seemingly not happening, he should fight Berto if he beats Ortiz. That'd be a solid fight.

I personally could give two ****s if the fight ever happens, but ill play along. Not saying I wouldnt enjoy it and watch though.

Basically Arum isn't going to accept that. He's worrying about his wallet. I don't think it's just as easy as Pac saying ok.

I have always thought 50-50 is the obvious and anything else is dumb, but if this hits near 2 mil, I think you can easily argue a 55-45 split for Mayweather.

          50/50 split without a doubt.

Thanks man. He just did. His legs looked fine when he used them, and he used much more in his attack than he did against Ortiz.

Cotto looked small compared to him.. Just the muscle mass of floyd's upper body seems roided up. Cotto looked really small in there.. it felt weird seeing how small cotto looked during the clinches.. Floyd's upper body was engulfing cotto..

Floyd looked like the bigger man and the bigger muscle mass. The deltoids and torso of Floyd looked surprisingly big.

not to mention when he rehydrated he looks like a middle weight compared to cotto. Cotto is a big dude, but when they were tied together cotto looked like the smaller dude.

more muscle mass = heavier weight than fat mass

Fat is lesser than real muscle mass. Floyd's mass was very lean. Just the traps and delts alone seems to way 20 pounds lol

Cotto looked less muscle less lean, floyd had the heavier muscle. meaner leaner..
Ur dumb, floyd is one of the biggest welterweights in today's era. The last true welterweight was Oscar. Plus cotto is a very small welterweight, he's naturally a chunky dude.

A prime Leonard would of beaten a PAST PRIME Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather.

How would a prime Leonard deal with a prime Floyd and Miguel is the real question.

Agree with everyone. If it was a 55-45 split, I wouldn't be upset.

                    Cotto win 4 rounds
                    Mayweather won 3
                    the rest was close rounds
but they give it to Mayweather - don't know why? Because Cotto was a far way better boxer then Money that night
                    i see a draw
Mayweather don't deserve for this win
                    Cotto deserve for a draw
                    that's it, in my opinion

the gave all close rounds to Mayweather, that's why he won
Cotto was a better boxer in this fight
i scored 116:115 for Cotto, maybe 116:116 (draw) but hell no Mayweather don't win this fight, and i'm not a fan of Cotto or Money, Mayweather is a star, American, they all wanna see him with Pacquiao, and the highest PPV in history, and maybe Mayweather vs some other star, 2 more times maybe 3

MAyweather looked bigger but maybe it was because he looked more cut up than cotto... Need to watch the fight again... Don't believe he lost 4 pounds though.
