Know I know who hasn't watched the fight. Even if they did score the knockdown, JMM would of still won by a large margin and rightfully so. HBO Wanted Barrera to win. Watch the fight with the speakers off and without any biased and you'll see why. Marquez landed the cleaner shots. Barrera was jabs all night.

I remember it being close enough that I couldnt make up my mind who won, based on one big swing round I couldnt quite figure out.

I dont think Marquez was having a 10-8 round. It was a big round no doubt, but Barrera didnt seem like he was about to get stopped, nor was he dropped.

by the end of the round he had cleared up, and was starting to land punches on Marquez even before the KD.

imo if Nady had actually been doing his job, he would have called that Marquez was down and Barrera wouldnt have hit him.

I will say, knockdown or not, Nady really dropped the ball.

When Marquez goes down, he needs to stop the action to establish order... Barrera obviously shouldn't have punched Marquez when he was down, but... Nady also should have given some sort of instructions to stop the combat.

He parted ways with golden boy because he felt he got robbed, his biggest mistake was not taking the rematch which they offered him and said he wouldn't let Marquez make money off of him again. So hes the one who's at fault here, he should have took the rematch.

No, he was hurt, not out on his feet. If he was out on his feet, he wouldnt have started timing the right hand as Marquez attacked him. It wasnt just that one punch, he landed the same type of punch right before the KD

From my point of view I thought Barrera just looked down, saw Marquez's knees not touching the ground, not hearing anything about Marquez being down(there was no call of any kind), and then just said **** it, ill keep fighting then.

I did watch it closely a few weeks ago, sure the first few rounds were close and Barrera was doing well but after the 6th Marquez took over the fight.
