locche has better reflexes and more slippery than floyd. when it comes to pure defense locche's better.
floyd's more crafty though by using tactics like clinching, holding and pushing, and even his elbows to sort out his opponents.

I think Locche was more slippery than Mayweather, but Mayweather has a better technical defense in the way his defense is going to last him better.

Man, I can sit here and watch Locche highlights all day. Dude had one of the funnest styles to watch. It was so efficient but it was very unusual and odd that it was borderline comical to watch.

Different eras, different opponents. Both had/have great defense.

But I will say Locche understood the meaning and purpose of defense unlike the majority of come-forward fighters who love eating a steady diet of leather for no apparent reason.

Locche, and I dont think it can even be debated. Mayweather is obviously the better fighter, but Locche won fights essentially with defense and NOTHING ELSE. he was unathletic and had a very weak offense, and yet still forced a lineal reigning champ to quit while barely throwing punches and shut out a HOF fighter in Antonio Cervantes.

not to mention that Locche practically initiated action. he stood directly in front of you making you miss. Mayweather on the other hand continually backs up and tries to slow down the action. Locche enjoyed sitting there making you miss.
not in any way Mayweather has bad defense, its excellent, one of the best ever...but Locche was something else.


the only people voting for Mayweather probably have never seen Locche fight or have never heard of his competition.


also...I dont know what was up with his face in th Fuji fight either, but he had that on his face before the fight started. it wasnt cuts caused by getting hit.
