Ah sorry, I misunderstood.
Well it's a long time since Chagaev has looked impressive in the ring (not since 2007). So I don't think he's got a chance of beating Haye. But it would be funny if he did win.Comment

Chagaev at his best only narrowly beat Valuev. Haye beat Valuev even more narrowly, but Chagaev has declined since he fought Valuev, whereas Haye hasn't. And Haye has a much bigger punch than Chagaev, and Chagaev's defence and punch resistance aren't as good as they once were.Comment

Because Haye turned down a fight in july, and went out in media saying "i will never fight a klitschko".
So what should he do? Sit around silently and let Haye run his bull**** like he always does?
I can't believe some of you british fans (not wazaa necessarily). Are you this gullible?
Haye has had what, 4 chances to fight a klitschko now? And now HE TURNS DOWN a july date, and Wladimir is the one ducking according to you?
FFS are you all completely ****ing ******ed?Comment

Something is still fishy here and I mean with both sides....
At first I thought the Chisora fight was a tune-up fight. Maybe it really was but that is not what Vlad is saying. Vlad is saying that he is taking on Chisora because he thinks Haye will pull out and more than likely he would not have fought Chisora otherwise.
Now I may buy into all that but then come back and say that he is close to signing with Adamak in September? ALREADY??? What's the rush Vlad?
So the question is, how serious was Vlad with signing with Haye when he was already close to signing with Adamak .... and Chisora appears to be a done deal? It's not like Haye made his statement months ago. It was days ago. Plus Haye's could have still changed his mind after thinking about it a couple of weeks or even months. Haye's hasn't signed with anyone yet!!! Maybe they could have worked something out, somehow. How badly did they really want it????
Why was Vlad already dealing with Adamak when he had the Hayes deal? That is the question. Was it that he had this funny feeling that Haye would pull out if Vlad would pull a stunt of having a fight 9 weeks before the Haye's fight? Well, even Vlad said he was thinking about Haye's pulling out. So was that Vlad's plan all along and hope the Haye's fight doesn't happen?
Let's face it. If Vlad has Chisora and Adamak close to signing, he may not have been that serious about the Haye's fight. Think about it,..... all I'm saying is that if you really wanted to fight this guy named Haye's that badly, you may have approached it a little differently.
Yes, Haye said what he said but Vlad did what he did .... Again, this smells from BOTH sides.
The way I'm reading this, they BOTH DON'T WANT TO FIGHT EACH OTHER!!!Last edited by ADP02; 01-11-2011, 10:54 PM.Comment

uh dude, you do realise that Wlad did in fact agree to the july 2nd date right? It was Haye who pulled the plug on the july 2nd date after that date was agreed upon. EXCUSE 1: Haye first said it was because the WBA said he couldn't fight a fighter who was already contracted to another fight.Witch was not true because the WBA NEVER ONCE SAID ANYTHING TO THAT AFFECT.excuse 2: Then Haye changed it to that there is no way Wlad could be ready to fight him in 9 weeks after fighting Chisora.( and why is Haye trying to tell Wlad he wont be ready to fight him nine weeks, that is for Wlad decide not Haye) EXCUSE 3:Later he also said there will not be enough time to promote the fight in 9 weeks.Witch is silly since this fight is already hype to heaven and hell, and they wouldn't wait till after the Chisora fight to start promoting the fight anyway. If Wlad wanted Haye so bad he would agree to July 2nd Haye himself said they both agreed that date with venue,TV etc fact is that if Wlad didnt choose to fight Chisora the fight would be signed and we would be discussing who would win not who ducked who.
P.S Didn't Wlad say before he would fight him anywhere at anytime.Comment
