    Dude is just not slick.
    Sadly, your probably right.

apparently you people have no idea what 'slick' means in a boxing sense. let me educate you.

SLICK means smooth and glossy, which makes you slippery and hard to hold on to and hit. If you cant call a fighter slippery, than you cant call them slick.

Can you honestly call Judah, Mitchell or Corley slippery? I sure as hell cant.

you throw Mayweather in there with a TRUE SLICK SLIPPERY FIGHTER like a prime Cory Spinks or prime Mayweather, and Mayweather gets embarressed.

You must be forgetting Carlos "Cripwalk" Hernandez... the slickest of all boxers.

I would call slippery more defensive than slick. Slippery means you don't get hit clean really (to me).

Slick to me means how you transition from offense to defense and back and can you defend and attack at the same time.

Prime for prime, JMM was slicker. Not only was JMM technically sound but in his prime was difficult to hit. That is why you didn't see JMM in many wars ala Morales or Barrera.

Not he could switch to defense and offense on the fly. And, his footwork compares to Judah is not even worth mentioning.

Judah is not slick. In your opinion you saying Judah is slicker than JMM cuz' he is quicker and has a flashy style. Ala Berto, offensively they're quick explosive and flashy so you confusing that with slick.

              But, he is not slick.

Slick and defensive are two different things.
pac fans are the only people that argue about what is a slick boxer but they are just a bunch of haters and don't know what they are talkin about they think mosley is a slick boxer

Cotto tries to be slick, as long as you try that makes you slick right? Cotto would parry punches, shoulder roll(he might parry and shoulder roll the wrong way into a punch but he tries to do it), uses footwork, head movement(look at Margarito) counters, uses the jab.

He tries to be slick just like Judah tries. Lets call him slick now. Since all you need to do is try.
I've seen Cotto fight. He can be somewhat slick. He can switch gears from boxing to brawling to punching. He utilizes back breaking hooks to go around his opponents guard.

Put it this way.. Pac and Marg ended Cotto because they eventually pierced his defense. Cotto hates it when you pierce his defense, even though its not that good.. then he tries to give a different look

Cotto matched Judah's slickness a bit in their fight though. He fought crafty and ruthless.

Judah is slick offensively. He popped Mayweather at that strange angle as May was comin in scoring the only legitimate kd of his career from a punch. He also snuck in some nice overhand lefts, right through Floyd's vaunted guard. You can attribute all that to him being a fast handed southpaw, but the way he sets up his punches is slick, when he gets going.

And, anybody who calls Judah slick doesn't get it.

And, for the first 6 rounds of that fight Cotto wasn't running away.

And, it doesn't mattter if that is his style. Cuz' he tried and as long as you try you're slick.
