Floyd has NEVER fought a slick African American fighter

I use to be a huge Judah fan back in the day and not once did I ever think he was a slick fighter.
Slick = Pernell Whitaker.
FWIW how many slick AA boxers have there been? I think it's a rarity so I never got the "Fighter A hasn't fought a slick AA" argument.
That term is just mis-used to promote a false sense of racial superiority; Something I find both sad and pathetic.Comment

Oh....I see because of his uppercut...I get it now....Shit lets call Margarito slick then.I would call Zab slick with his uppercut, he finds a way to get that punch off quickly on the counter without much warning.
That is Zab style though to try and be slick that is how he approaches a fight.
Cotto is like JMM an offensive minded boxer, apples and oranges.
Cotto tries to be slick, as long as you try that makes you slick right? Cotto would parry punches, shoulder roll(he might parry and shoulder roll the wrong way into a punch but he tries to do it), uses footwork, head movement(look at Margarito) counters, uses the jab.
He tries to be slick just like Judah tries. Lets call him slick now. Since all you need to do is try.Comment

I see there is a general confusion that Zab Judah is a slick fighter, he's not.
Pacqiauo and Judah are both equallly unslick IMO.Comment

BTW Jrose is correct.
Judah only moves his head and acts like a slick boxer when showing off. When it comes to actually fighting like that (when he's in a real fight and not against a scrub) dude rarely moves his head at all, is planted most of the time and never really uses the ring, and can be hit at wiil it seams.
Just look at the Clottey fight as proof. He has the tools to be slick and can if he wants but he just never commits enough to that style of boxing to be consider a "slick boxer".Comment
