Here knock yourself out.. Notice rankings of year end 2008.. And both Cotto and Hatton had wins in early 2009 before they fought Pac which made them move them up the rankings. Not to mention Vasquez (temporary) and Calzaghe both retired in early 2009 which bumped Cotto and Hatton up the rankings.
Say what you want about Mayweather's inactivity, but he fights P4P Elites

You want proof of an imaginary list? Seriously, how can you guys laud Floyd's win over Hatton because he was a p4p ranked fighter, then not give similar credit for Pac fighting the same guy? He lost ONE fight to a guy that was ranked significantly higher on the p4p list, does that automatically mean he was never really any good?

"Cotto has fought quality opposition throughout his career and proved himself against the likes of Mosley, Judah and Quintana. He is now ranked 8th on the pound for pound list after winning a close decision to Joshua Clottey"
Im not saying that it wasn't an achievement beating those fighters but he didn't face them at their prime or peak moment in their career. I mean Manny has beaten many quality opponents in his career at their prime but against common opponents Floyd has beaten them when they were more difficult to win against.Comment

Say what you will about Mayweather's inactivity and the abilities of his opponents (I.E. Too small, Too Old, Too pale etc,.) but in his last three fights, he has fought P4P Elites.
Hatton - Top 10 P4P
Marquez - Top 5 P4P
Mosley - Top 5 P4P
Judging by that record, he is going right back to a Top 10 guy whenever he comes back.
JMM obviously is but he's a career FW so he doesn't even count.

That's only 3, Pac fought 6 fights with 2 fighters ranked at #3.
Barrera - #3 P4P
Marquez - #3 P4P
Morales 1 and 2 - Top 10 P4P
Cotto - Top 6 P4P
Hatton - P4P# 8
Plus he didnt ask the other to climb up 2 divisions to fight him. There was no WW ranked in the P4P list that was available in between the time he fought Clottey and Margarito...
Cotto was #8, not #6.
I can't remember Hatton he was either #10 or #8 but he wa definitely top 10.
The rest are right I believe.
But i don't think the TS means throughout their careers. Well I presume so as he's left out Corrales for Mayweather. I believe he mean in thier last 3 fights each (including Mosley for Pacqiauo) Which Pacqiauo has fought 3 fighters not in the Top 10 P4P.Comment

Proof please because Hatton getting KO by Floyd followed by unimpressive fights before and after that fight I really doubt he was. Cotto had been destroyed by Margarito I know he probably cheated but still so I doubt he was in the top 8 either after only winning a tune up and beating Clottey.
Cotto was #8.Comment

Correction..
Hatton was P4P#5 when he fought Mayweather
Marquez was P4P#2 when he fought Mayweather
Mosley was P4P#3 when he fought Mayweather
Lets look at Manny
Cotto wasnt on P4P list when Pacquiao fought him
Clottey wasnt on P4P list when Pacquiao fought him
Margarito wasnt on P4P list when Pacquiao fought him
edit: hatton that is.Comment
